I think those two are connected to each other. The source of the lead is just as important as how you interact with them. For example, you could have a "lead" from a free lead generation site called orangeleads (actually used to use it) and end up with someone who literally has no idea about making money online or mlm or anything for that matter, and yet is considered a lead. Sure I could interact and develop a relationship with this person but in my book it is a waste of time unless someone does more than say yes I am interested to a question, especially via phone.

Take a lead that I generate with a specific video from a blog I did, I would consider this a much higher quality lead firstly based on the source of lead. Now of course it is up to me to give this person what they want or to just jerk around online. :roll:

Also, I realize that hey this phone system probably works but I am just expressing my dislike with it. I guess maybe because I have gotten a bunch of those automated phone calls half cut off to my voicemail :lol:

haha nate i can understand the source of your inherent dislike for that kind of system. i live in japan, so i don't get those calls very often. they exist over here as well, but maybe it is having a house and number that is in a foreign name... they probably think i can't speak Japanese, which is fine by me!

regarding the quality though, my point was the lead, and how you interact are what make them quality or not. granted, i'm sure we'd both agree the ratio of leads that turn out to be quality vs leads that don't are much better using marketing methods like you discussed than using free leads from a place like orangeleads and probably many paid lead suppliers as well.

you COULD argue, however, that if a person is willing to hear a recorded message and then respond to the person who gave it, they might be much better leads than most! haha. who knows.

anyway, leads from different sources may seem like better or more "legitimate" leads, my point was just that in my opinion they can't become quality or crap leads until after you've connected with them (or totally failed to connect as the case may be).

anyway, just my thoughts.

Well the way that i was being taught to do phone broadcasting was with conference calls and explain our product of service. It does have a lot of potential to work but with the m.s. way, you can make more money and quickly too.
