I am almost done with BlackBelt Recruiting. My questions is how do you go from the magnetic sponsoring approach to blackbelt recruiting approach
magnetic sponsoring teaches people to call their leads and listen to their prospect. They are there to offer help and guidance to their problems. In building this relationship over time there is the <5% chance this lead will turn into a business associate (which is the primary goal but not the only source of income).
blackbelt recruiting teaches you need to interview your leads. You are qualifying people and in some cases you can qualify them in under 30 seconds. Your not on the phone to talk to a tire kicker. If the person isn't interested then you disqualify them and move on.
So.
How does one go from magnetic sponsoring -> blackbelt recruiting position?
1) I don't see this happening without your own personalized capture page
2) There must be a point in the process that introduces the lead to your primary MLM business. This has to be done BEFORE you even talk to them. This is where I'm stuck. Magnetic sponsoring states to NOT e-mail a lead more than once and even then if you use a magnetic sponsoring capture page those leads are not exactly yours to put into a autoresponder. Your not supposed to "throw up" on your leads with your primary business. So how can you do this through e-mail before you even talk to them? An autoresponder over time makes sense but this would have to be in conjunction with your own capture page.
3) If you do have your own capture page, how many messages can you possible send them before giving them your info on your primary business? Most here at BN agree that 48hrs is the time limit to talk with a lead. Anything past that time would decrease your chances of connecting or at the very least making a sale. So with a 48 hr window I don't see how you can expect to break in your lead and build a relationship prior to calling them even with your own capture page.
Am I wrong to assume that all the teachings of blackbelt recruiting assume that every single lead you speak with has already been pre-qualified to a certain extent in that they want to know more about your primary business?
I think I'm missing a step and any insight would be appreciated.
There is one system I'm looking at that does bridge the gap somewhat but until MLMTraffic Formula arrives in the mail I didn't want to join a system until I could see if this was something I could take on by myself.

Re: Transition to BlackBelt Recruiting Mentality
Hi Lawrence,
What a great question - and I for one will be watching the replies on this thread with great anticipation. I have to say up front, I have not seen any of the Black belt material, so I can't offer a personal insight as such. But here's how I thought it worked - I was under the impression that the main aim of Magnetic was to teach the use of attraction marketing to bring you leads, and that Black Belt was then concerned with the skills needed to recruit leads into your back-end business.
In other words, I got the impression that the different offerings from the Mike Dillard stable, linked together to provide complete end-to-end solutions and training.
I don't know if that helps, but that's my perspective, kind of from the outside looking in?
As I say, the replies will be interesting.
Have a good one

If the person isn't interested then you disqualify them and move on.Good observation. When you speak to enough of them, you start to get a feel for their energy level and how serious they are - regardless if they say they are serious or not. Get off the phone quick with those tire-kickers and don't try to convince to invest in themselves or their business
So.
How does one go from magnetic sponsoring -> blackbelt recruiting position? It can happen as quickly as overnight (depending on your past experiences in life) to several months, to several years for some people - it's really a decision to go from being passive and attracting people to being professional & qualifying people for your time. It's one thing to attract leads, another to recruit them. It's the mindset - took me almost 3 to 4 months to start implementing BBR successfully.
1) I don't see this happening without your own personalized capture pageDoesn't need to be your own - you can use a proven system before you considere creating your own (a process you would most likely want to hire out anyway - trust me on it)
2) There must be a point in the process that introduces the lead to your primary MLM business. There is. If your talking about introducing it by email - you need to learn some copywriting. If you are looking to get them on the phone -you need to learn some prospecting. You can't be afraid to ask for the sale, otherwise your leaving the decision up to your prospects to make (and they are quick to make one for you). When you understand atleast the basics of copywriting and prospecting, the answer will become obvious to you - I could write a thesis on how to get people to open your emails and are eager to buy from you.
3) If you do have your own capture page, how many messages can you possible send them before giving them your info on your primary business? Most here at BN agree that 48hrs is the time limit to talk with a lead. Anything past that time would decrease your chances of connecting or at the very least making a sale. So with a 48 hr window I don't see how you can expect to break in your lead and build a relationship prior to calling them even with your own capture page.It depends on you really and your personality. If your a little more aggressive, it would be sooner rathe rthan later. It depends on your skill as a email writer (copywriting) and/or prospecting. The more value I've learned you give up front, the faster your leads will be recpetive you and your offer.
It is possible to "break in your lead" before you talk to them the moment they enter in their contact information. They will be ecstatic (most of them) to hear from YOU because I've had a few tell me - "it's rare they get a call from anybody offering help". The flip side is this : If you don't feel you have much in value to offer them - or if you think you are cutting into THEIR time - of if you lack an abundent mindset - they will sense it almost the moment you pick up the phone. They'll dismise you, and tell you THEY aren't intrested (even after they were the ones who asked for more information - again, back to prospecting skills)
Am I wrong to assume that all the teachings of blackbelt recruiting assume that every single lead you speak with has already been pre-qualified to a certain extent in that they want to know more about your primary business? Not really, it's core focus is on the idea that yes, you are generating your own leads and prospects (which makes it easier) - but Mark Weiser also goes into ways to talk to people who are totally cold and know nothing about you.
I think I'm missing a step and any insight would be appreciated.

You'll have your work cut out for you if your trying to do it "ALL by yourself". You will spend several weeks (more like months) getting the system in place so it's not only duplicatable, but is easy to understand for your team. You could spend either more time - a LOT of time(doing it yourself) or hundreds of dollars outsourcing (the way I personally would go).
Ultimately, it's YOUR decision, just prepare yourself for the headaches and hurdles ahead. Good luck!

Re: Transition to BlackBelt Recruiting Position of Power
I think I finally understand it. Getting a huge amount of targeted traffic that converts to leads that then are slowly spoon fed information about your business. This then allows you to be positioned in such a way that you only talk to people who already know what you do already and are ready to speak with you.
I just love the system I'm in that allows for the slow drip of information about my primary business to my leads through the backoffice when they log in and through my autoresponder.
This really dawned on me when I read through MLM Traffic Formula. Dang, it really is that simple.
Traffic -> Leads -> Monitize -> Drip primary/affiliate information through backoffice and autoresponder -> Talk with filtered Leads using Black Belt Recruiting
All the while everyone you get in touch with is learning from you personally and through your marketing/training system. Why can't everything be this simple and repeatable. yes, a light actually went off in my head when I saw this bigger picture.

Re: Transition to BlackBelt Recruiting Position of Power
It's crazy. It's like someone had to throw a football into my head to realize I don't catch a football well with my hands. Seriously. I had to hit me over the head to understand a pretty simple concept.
It's one thing to get a couple leads and see them turn into affiliate sales then jump on the phone to talk with them. It's another thing to see leads come in bunches. I guess I had to have it happen to me to truly understand "abundance" which allowed the system filter and sort my traffic and leads.
Great stuff that most people miss the boat on for far too long.
