Really, what is the difference between a service that advertises you can send an ezine solo ad to a list and a service like ListDotCom.com and ListBandit.com that says you can email thousands of their subscribers at once but also build a downline?

I was thinking about going with ListDotCom.com because I'm already familiar with Mike Filsaime but I'd like some pointers on the ins and outs and also the pros and cons.

Its been a long while since I messed with that stuff but I believe it is really the same thing. Except with the solo email ads. Its just different on how the stats are tracked. Like if you read so many emails you get so many points to do non solo ads. With the solo ads-I think you buy credits-but Im not sure-its been a while

Also I think you get credited different amounts of points towards each two for the email links you are clicking on

List services are just what you said in the other post. They blast an email out too all their members with different ads and website links. These kind of services have a small beneficial impact but not as good as Ezines. Ezines are actual online magazines and there are 100's of good quality ones out there that are every beneficial to get involved in. The beneficial ones are the ones that people sign up for that actually read them for there content.

Its good to write articles for these online magazines to get your name and brand recognized.

Sometimes what one says is old news is not always true. Millions of people are still reading ezines and new ones are being created almost daily.

You got your answer -

Ezines = online magazines with actual articles. People subscribe for the content- and you can mail to targeted subscribers.

List builders = mailing list of other marketers. Marketers mailing to each other. Yup, thats how they work.

I still use the list builders every week to add subscribers. Its more like quantity than real quality because many of the optins are simply curious. But if I have 1 in 20 take me up on an offer, thats cool with me. It takes no time at all to send the mailings.



listdotcom didn't even make my list of list builders to test based on results of fellow marketers = rubbish.
