Hello fellow networkers
I've been studing Mike Dillards MS and other of his courses. I find them to be really great and I have spend alot ot time getting used to the stuff.
Now I'm ready to start promoting the links but I do have a few questions.
1: I don't have a primary opportunity at the moment but as 97% of networkers have no clue on what to do why bring it up untill they have gone through at least MS or other products?
2: When they signup through the MS system sites what do should I have as the main goal when calling them?
3: Do you put them on an auto responder training series or what do you recommend besides giving them a call in effective way to follow up?

Following up with your prospects should be to offer one thing and only one thing - help. It's definitely not about introducing them to your business opp, even if you did have one.
None of Mike's products are business opps in themselves. So it's a fair bet to assume that none of the people opting in are looking for a business opportunity. They're looking for the solution offered by whichever product they signed up to.
Remember, this is about you helping them. Letting them know who you are and where they can get hold of you and what you can do for them. Some will take you up on your offer, some won't. Some will go on to buy the products, some won't. But none will buy the products or join your business (when you join one) if you try to sell them on anything.

As San mentioned, the only thing you want to ask when following up with a prospect is, "How can I help YOU?" That opens the door for them to tell you where they are in their business and marketing efforts.
Through their talking, take notes on what they are saying the need to get to where they want to go. You will then discover if you have any products or services that may help them move forward. You want to tailor your offer based on what they told you they need, not just what you have.
Obviously that means you will have to turn a few people away because you can't help them, but at least you will have that relationship that may develop into other mutually beneficial opportunities later on.

Just do what it takes..be yourself, be nice to them, listen to them. Some will, some won't..so what! You are in NUMBERS game. People want to copycat good leaders in MLM. Duplication is what we want. The key to this is SIMPLICITY. Make it simple and networking life would be stress-free.

With all the information in Mike's products its good to get focused on the right track.
I've been to the backoffice and reading the What to do with the leads? part and seen the script so there is no excuse for not getting to it.
As I've read in BOAB the 20-40 leads aday sounds productive but 10 minutes in average gives 6 calls an hour and with 30 its 5 hours in total. How much is it help versus selling of Mike's products/taking orders after helping them.
I'm perfectly aware about giving without want and help them. My mindset is in tune with that. It's just the question of income for 5 hours work.
How late is it to call a lead you generated? I tried some PPC back in august so there is 19 leads in my backoffice and all they got is the intro email. Also I have 3-4 without a phone number. How can people sign up through MS site without it?

Congratulations of getting your first few leads! I must let you know that the leads that come through from your marketing magnetic sponsoring will be primarily other networkers who have their own business(es).
How much of your time will be helping and how much will be selling is a question that says you are not understanding what we have mentioned before on talking with your leads.
Even your recommendation of Magnetic Sponsoring or other products must be part of the helping. Your job is to learn to listen to what your potential prospect is telling you they want to accomplish and matching them with the appropriate product/service if, in fact, in your EXPERT opinion, you have one for them.
For example, if I had to resource such as an article, video, ebook, or website (free or paid) that could help you understand this process on a deeper level now would be an appropriate time to recommend a product or service that could help you...
Just take a deep breath and stop being so "trigger happy" to close your leads in a sale. This desperate posture will come through in your marketing and in your content. You'll repel instead of attract.
Sometimes what my client needs is to start building their own website, sometimes it choosing a niche, sometimes where to get free promotions. I tailor my product recommendations to what fits what they need. Sometimes is Mike's products and sometimes it's someone else's and sometimes there's nothing that I have that they need at this time.... Some of them just need to quit because they have the wrong mind set!
I suggest you use the leads you're getting now as a test group. Ask lots of questions about what they need and then make sure you get a few products lined up from what they tell you your looking for.
For the one who want MS right now you will get the sale, for the ones that need more time or for those who want something other than you have right now... future potential sales

I'm moving slightly forward.
I got 2 UK based leads which I have called today. One was not there and the second were moved for tomorow evening as the lead was busy.
The reasons for my worries is the fact that I'm currently back in school to have a safe income (not much) untill this is substancial enough. Also a lack of talking on the phone to strangers but its rather a habit that I will quickly adjust too.
Doing this fulltime is the goal. I got alot of US and Canada leads but I need to know about timezones and when is properly the best time if there is a general sort of standard. Main reason being located in Denmark which is 6 hours ahead of US Eastern time. Leaving US/Canada out is not a good idea and I don't plan to.

Things are going good.
I'm going through the 15 leads with phone numbers and so far I have talked with 3 of them. It feels great to help them and it will not take long to get some great experience doing this.

I have nothing else than the MS system and a few others books that might come/fit in.
As its about knowing the actual problem of the prospect I don't have an opportunity at all based on the fact they 99% of the time they are not ready for it. I would rather educate them first and sort through before signing them up for one.
We know that the MS system will help anyone using it to where they want to be and simply the best around period!

Hey Anderz,
Have you bought black belt recruiting? If your still not comfortable on the phone, Listen to it repeatedly until you find yourself talking like Mark Wieser, seriously. Thats exactly what I did and It will changed the way I thought about a phone call. When your an "Alpha" prospects notice.
My suggestion is continue to read, learn and grow. Don't stop at MS, there are endless people and tools out there who have already conquered the problems you are currnetly having, and everyone who is ahead of you has had the SAME problems, solved them and probably are selling it, or giving away a free ebook.
I have learned a TON from Free Reports.
You WILL have to invest time and some money to truly utilize the principles of attraction marketing. The more money you can spend/time you can learn on knowledge and bringing value to yourself, the more your leadership skills will develop, mainly because you have done something that most won't do, therefore you will become the hunted due to the value you bring others.
When you are finally ready to join an opporutnity make sure your joining a "SYSTEM". Join leaders who already have a proven record of leading, create success in others and have a successful "SYSTEM". People fail "systems" don't. Hope this helps. Take care and much success to you.
