A consumer sees things and thinks “That’s neat, I think I’ll buy one.” A merchant sees it and thinks “Is there a way to make a profit with this?” In the internet marketing WORLD the "merchant" makes all the money Period! There are alot of CONSUMER mindset marketers out there and dont have a clue of how to make a switch to the MERCHANT mindset.

Hi Timothy,
you are correct in saying that it all depends on the mindset. Some people do just buy, buy and buy. They don't have a business mind thinking how they too can make money.
I don't think that is something that can be taught because being a entrepreneur is a trait. Not something you do for the sake of it. If someone doesn't give their business 100% they will probably fail and give up anyway.
It is important we continue to invest in our education and grow to improve our channels of income and grow.

I agree
I once heard it refer to as "Opportunity Seeking Entrepreneur" and "Stragetic Thinking Entrepreneur" - the approach and therefore the results vary WIDELY and therefore it's important to always be conscious of how we are currently approaching something. When we're needy we're definietely in the 'opportunity seeking mode' - when something makes us go "OMGG!!! THIS IS AWESOME" we have a chance of turning into a strategic entrepreneur
In my opinion it is very well possible for someone to give up years of TV conditioning but it takes a real desire for change. And not everyone is willing to give it up...
