My #1 Tip is very simple...
Be a Product of Your Product
Another way to put it would be "be your own best customer."
As simple as that is it has profound implications in your network marketing business.
Using your product [the way you expect others to do] is helping you build your story.
And if you haven't heard - stories sell.
Using your products, having a story and experiencing what your product line first hand is hands down one of the best ways to share with people. You have experiential knowledge engrained in your being. It isn't contrived, engineered or thought up in a brainstorm session. Its real life, your life, and people love real life stories.
Accompany your story with a great business card and get out there and talk to people.
It will be one of the most naturally enticing marketing methods you may ever use.
Here's a simple "low tech" way to create a killer business card campaign...

- On the front of your card include a high quality photo of yourself
Be sure to include your "personal branding / you inc" information
Facebook, Skype, Phone Number, Email, etc.
- On the back, use the space like a billboard with a strong call to action.
- Create a unique tracking URL using Google URL Builder
https://support.google.com/googleanalyt ... swer=55578
- Use Bitly.com to create your shortened tracking link and QR code
* This will provide analytics for you to track the effectiveness of your cards
**You can create unique urls for different cards
***This can be applied to any campaign material such as postcards, newspaper ads, brochures, etc.

Hi Richard. I have a sign across the whole back window of my car saying:
Tired of living paycheque to paycheque
Work from home
Call 206-338-5602
I live in a very rural area so don't get a lot of calls on it but the few I do get are basically from a very passive, long since paid for, sign on my vehicle.

Re: Are You Marketing Offline?
One of the best things I like doing is offline marketing. Getting out in the community and finding what people are doing and adjusting to their life situations.
That means I am not selling a product when they see me. I am out there mingling with people and having the time of my life with them. Being active in the community or just being at several restaurants and riding events and showing people the active lifestyles they can also achieve.
We stop trying to convince people on any better way to live. It is sometimes better to see for yourself how they are dealing with life and help only when asked. We are the model of our products and we have to show people that something works for us and so can it help them to a better health. Listening is a big part of learning about people and their lifestyles.
I like the saying, 'don't talk about somebody until you have walked a mile in their shoes.' 'So the next time I talk about somebody I will be a mile away in their shoes!'

Signage is still a very effective marketing technique no doubt.
Good stuff!

Mario can you be more specific as far as sharing a tip someone can put to use in the scenario you described?
For example, when you're out mingling and the conversation drifts over to the topic of "what do you do?" and you talk a little about that, what do you do next?
The door is open the person is showing interest, what kind of marketing tool or process do you put into play to expose them to your business and take the interest to the next level?

Re: Are You Marketing Offline?
Hi Richard,
I have not done much offline marketing as of late, but when I did and when I do, I use auto magnetic's on my vehicle. "MAKE MONEY WITH YOUR COMPUTER" and it gives a website to go to for more info.
If I am at a stand still and I get inquiries, I get the person's contact info and give them a sizzle card with the website.
Here's a real kicker, although I am a distributor for Watkins, I do not really promote it, I am just not into sales,
. But, to this day, I still have people come up to me and ask if I still do Watkins, because they want to order some Watkins Vanilla.
I have become flus-strated when it comes to Watkins. People want the products, but they are so used to having the "WATKINS MAN" deliver it to them personally, they have become spolied.
I explain to people, hey do you know you can join Watkins as a distributor for less than $40, you can then get a 25% discount on your products and you can earn money. Nope, they want me to deliver it to them.
Also the team I am on in Watkins provides business cards, flyers and websites to educate people on Watkins. Great team there.
Sorry for the rant.
I am big on using third party tools for offline marketing.
I learned this worked real well in Pre-Paid Legal.
We used Success From Home magazine which feature the company, DVD's that explained everything and PPL also had auto signs you can use.
Robert Kiyasoki's The Perfect Business is a great offline marketing tool, that one can use to validate the MLM industry.
Of course if a person is down on MLM, it doesn't matter what you do, they will still knock MLM.

Awesome share Willie, thank you!
I know exactly what you mean about referrals. We go looking for Shaklees cleaners occasionally and people pop up from the past asking us about Body Balance. Looks like I need to look into Watkins, I dont think Ive ever looked at the company, but we use their vanilla, lol.
So of the various tools which do find most effective?
Can you share an example of how you'd actually put that tool into play and how you track it?

Yes, QR codes are very cool but maybe a little ahead of their time in most cities outside of say LA, NY, and Orlando FL

Boy do you need to get out more Harry. We've had QR codes way up here in Canada for ages already.
