As far as attraction marketing is concerned, yeah it's really about not making yourself look stupid. It's about not being like a used car salesman. It's about not begging people to join. But straight up selling a network marketing company is not a bad thing. You don't need to trick people into buying other stuff first. I personally do believe in multiple streams of income though.

I like the way you word this Landon. It's really about not making yourself look stupid. That's it in a nutshell.

I think it was Mark Hoverson that said: Being a good person is not enough.

Mark Hoverson is one of the best marketers that pitches his opp like crazy in his emails (not so much lately though), while still keeping himself positioned correctly. What he does is such an art. I actually learned about reverse marketing, which is what i do, through one of his courses.

.

This is a $500 thread...
Look at the conversation, the perspectives and experience being shared.
Seriously... Now you have to ask, where is everybody?

Its funny how the lamest topics take off, get "syndicated" and shared.
But then you have stuff like this, real meat and potatoes for your business, and no one shows up for dinner.

THAT is why only a few ever see real success in their business.
The 3% aren't afraid of the hard work and learning the actual steps that put benjamins in your bank account, while everyone else chases what's comfortable, what's easy.

Great stuff everybody!

@Richard

I can laugh but you are so right! I think the biggest thing is that many of the posts are "me" posts. Its not about learning growing and getting better, its about how can I get people.

When people make a major shift and actually learn that its about serving people then they will start to see what they have been missing. I appreciate all the contributions, and as always I am learning from everything that is contributed as well.

Yeah its a mystery to me too, how many will get into subjects that really won't do anything to help them.

Attraction marketing, from my understanding, is really showcasing the unique value that you have to offer in your industry. What's so special about you, what do you know, what can you do/teach/provide that not many others can? This 'value' that you have, how can you create more of it and share it with as many people who want it?

A lot of people see it as merely telling everyone how much of a boss you are and how badass the funnel you're promoting is. But in my opinion, it does take a lot of research and learning as well as applying (and failing a lot in the process) what you've learned until you find what works. And THEN share it because you've done it for real. THEN you become an authority in your niche. Once you become perceived as an authority, then other people in your niche are 'attracted' to you.

Yes, it may take some skills.
Yes, it may take some trial and error and experience.
Yes, it takes some learning in the beginning.

But it's basically about 'selling' the person you've become up until now - and that's who people will want to follow. Show them why.
Sick of Attraction Marketing? Learn how to really make money online the simple way without all the BS and forget about that outdated Attraction Marketing.

Great topic Lynda.

Attraction Marketing is by no means new...there have been other terms used over the years but I think a lot of people do confuse what Attraction Marketing is all about.

Ultimately it's about consistently providing something of value that will help others grow. We all know the tools and ways to be able to promote that - not going to get into that here - but what Attraction Marketing does require is WORK.

Nothing is going to magically happen. I once thought I'd put out content and WAIT for people to act on it. Come on...that was so wrong. If we want to be the hunted then there are things we need to consistently do to become the hunted. For example, if I want people to know I'm a health guru then everything I do should support that. If I decide to do that once-in-a-while then I'm not utilizing Attraction Marketing but instead "dabbling". If we want to be successful at Attraction Marketing then don't be a dabbler.

Just my two cents.

YES Jerome

We have to do a lot of giving consistently before we get. It is worth learning and I have found it to be true. You are also right it is not new. We are no longer getting as much from push-marketing. We have to learn to create that pull.

I have to add...That "learning" part is my favorite part for myself and the team. It's a good feeling to apply what you've learned and get results with it.

Great topic,

For me Attraction Marketing is a very simple Spiritual principle - You attract what you give. Or another way it's taught is you reap what you sow. We are all using Attraction Marketing if you look at it from this perspective. You are attracting into your business what you put out. If you put out a junk mindset you will attract people with the same mindset. If you put out an educational mindset you will attract those who are looking for an educational experience. The list goes on and on and what we put out we attract.

All the techniques, tips, tricks whatever we want to call it are just tools and nothing more. They are the same tools used by those who put out Junk and those who don't Some tools are more effective than others.

In my opinion, there is no secret to attraction marketing it's all about who you want to be and who do you want to attract into your business.

Appreciation from the Heart,
