the thing is Attraction Marketing is about only one thing you providing a solution to a problem.
it does not matter if it is how you think or if you share what someone else said people want a solution.
now at first if you are not known then it may take some time (different for every body).
now at the end of MS mike tells you MASSIVE ACTION= MASSIVE RESULTS ( PPC/BLOGING/SOLO ADS/ARTICLES ect.)
it gets hard when you try to be like walmart in providing your solution.
MS= What you should or could do
BBR= How to talk to leads and the posture to have about the process
TF2.0= A step by step brake down from start to finish. Who ,What, How, Why, of not just network marketing but marketing products and services what ever you may be trying to do.
in short this is your business. "as long as you are counting on someone else to make you successful you will never be successful!"
Attraction Marketing Misunderstood? it seams to be that way when it is not working for you.
Jim Rohn told me if you are not getting the results you are looking for Derrick "READ ALL THE BOOKS ON THAT SUBJECT AND TRY IT AGEN" "NOW AFTER THAT PUT INTO ACTION ALL THE STEPS JUST AS YOU LEARNED/READ from the books from the people you trust on that subject."
Then if you are still not getting the results you want take your results and ASK FOR HELP FROM SOMEONE AND DON'T QUIT UNTIL YOU GET THE HELP/desired results.
Hard, long time, ect. is not a factor when your dream IS BIG ENOUGH.

Attraction Marketing is learning how to bring people to you vs push-marketing.

Attraction Marketing is helping people by talking about or providing a solution to solving their problem and then as a after thought this or that will get the job done faster. (putting out info about how to make a better hole?) not putting out info about the Brand NEW (GROUND FLOOR)2013 power drill only $497.97
Now you can use any one and you will get results the main difference is (putting out info about how to make a better hole?) attracts the people back to you creating a concreat business. Using the Brand NEW (GROUND FLOOR)2013 power drill only $497.97 option will more times than not creat a one time sale only. Because you have not given them a reasion to come back to you because they can get the product from any one selling that same product.
Studying Attraction Marketing is learning how to bring people to you vs push-marketing or any other type of way of trying to make a sale.

If you look at how Mike teaches Attraction Marketing it is only a different way to make a sale. He lead with a how to newsletter and book not a join my team ad but got to that join me part through the newsletter and book. His name branding came as the result of the how to newsletter and book on how to solve a problem and him being the one shareing the info. He even talks about how he did not invent Attraction Marketing he just put the idea in a book.
... when you are using Attraction Marketing the way Mike teaches it correctle your result is sales based on your brake down of sales.lyndacromar wrote:Sales is defined as the service of solving a problem and resulting in a transaction that benefits both parties

Re: Attraction Marketing Misunderstood?
When you use attraction marketing correctly and learn to attract the correct people to you you no longer have to work so hard at your push marketing.
To illustrate a short story:
When I first got online I of course like everyone else threw my link out there, just like you fish right? Only I had no idea how to find the right target market, I had not defined who they were, what they thought etc.
Then through being part of the MLSP community, and Diane Hochman, I have learned now its not putting the link out there, its knowing what questions they ask, what their problems are. You see in this community all the time, that we can put out great content and then they are attracted to that. But and this is big so listen up!
Only if you have researched your market, those you want to attract and you are answering the questions that they are asking, filling that need, talking directly to them.
How do you do that?
You have to study them, knowing people is really what you want to invest your time in. When you know how they think, what their questions and concerns are, and then you answer them, they will find you!

In my experience the number one question is "How do I make money?" covered up and hidden by "How do I start a blog? how do I find people on facebook? how do I .........?"
But it all boils down to "How do I make money?"
Then provide that answer.

Re: Attraction Marketing Misunderstood?
This isn't the first time I see someone slam attraction marketing. The reason they slam it is because it's hard to get in. The learning curve can be brutal and the competition is fierce. Those who don't want to take responsibility for their own faults (something I learned in Magnetic Sponsoring) blame it on the system. These slammers don't give any valid arguments why it doesn't work other than metaphors and unrelated statistics.
Anyway, I wanted to share a simple observation of mine.
Most people put it as "old school tactics" vs. "Attraction Marketing". I would like to point out that it isn't exactly so.
Just look at the numbers. The "old school methods" using proper positioning and posture the way I see Ray Higdon teach it (look through his youtube channel for the longer videos) have a stat of 1 or 2 signups for every 10 prospects. The numbers Mike Dillard gives are 10 - 20% will buy a product and 3% will join business. Breaking down the numbers - that equals 1-2 sales per 10 prospects and 1 signup per 3-6 sales = 1 signup per 33 prospects.
Why aren't the stats of attraction marketing higher than the old school tactics?
The answer is simple. These 2 methods are targeting 2 different markets. Old school methods target people who are not in MLM. Attraction Marketing the Magnetic Sponsoring way target specifically current or previous network marketers.
You don't neccesarily have to follow Magnetic Sponsoring to the "t". Attraction Marketing is a brilliant concept that can be applied to the "old school" way to improve those stats as well. There's a ton of value in the Magnetic Sponsoring book you can teach people interested in opening their own business.
Did you ever wonder why they have chocolate and magazines by checkout counters at shoprite, Don't those belong in their proper aisles? That's an example of a very tactful upsell. When you dangle chocolate in someone's face they are likely to buy. I would never have thought of looking at it like that without reading magnetic sponsoring. These are things you can teach people who aren't in MLM. You can follow the same process to then recruit them into your business. This way you targeted people seriously considering owning a business. Upsells, SLO, email follow up, attraction marketing etc. all would make a killer webinar for anyone looking to open their own business.
You don't need to lead with your business to do it the old school way. Adapt attraction marketing to target whoever you want - as long as you are teaching something they would love to learn...
