I remember when I got into this industry of network marketing I discovered that my leader was not the person who would lead me into the path that I desired for myself . I really do believe that if you have the right leader that knows a thing or two you can go very far . Network marketing can be pure hell if you don't know what your doing and if your upline is no help to you ....if your mindset is totally wrong then you would end up like the people who have failed in the industry . I think that this is truly a learning curve and sometimes our upline may even know what to do but what work for them . So what will the right leader do for you and your business?

if you don't have a good leader, the best thing is for YOU to become a leader. And the best way to do that, is to inform and educate yourself. 97% of networkers FAIL because they have no idea what they're doing. and i feel bad for them. I was part of those 97% percent, but what changed is that I realized that since I didnt have a leader who really helped me get going, I had to be a LEADER myself. And I did that by educating myself. Knowledge is POWER! Power is Leadership!! At the end of the day, those 3% of people who just never quit are those standing on the podiums, getting awards, going on trips to cancun, bahamas, etc, and enjoying 10,000, 20,000+ dollars PER WEEK!! For those 3%, failure is just NOT an option. But for the other 97%, it is.

I think this is the the order what I think is important:::

1)company system branding
2)Team system branding
3)upline system branding

If newbie have to depend on #2 or #3,,, what happen if you in the wrong team? or wrong leaders?

When you think about sponsorship, it's like, family... You can't choose who your mother or father is!!!

Most people are obligate to sign up under whomever told them about it first!!! or at least it should work that way!!!

So if the company don't have a system in place to help newbie succeed, then they better have a change in sponsorship policy to be fair!!!

If company depend on upline,,, then there is no hope for newbie...
why should go directly under you when I go to smartest guy on the top?

I think signing up with the right leader/team help you start faster... but not over all success!
there is no perfect system... but the company should invest as much as posssible to help newbie

To answer your question quickly, NO!

Signing up with the right leader does not guarantee you results.

The only person who is in control of your success or failure is you.

I know people who have had horrible leaders do some fantastic things in network marketing and at the same time I know others who have had great leaders who have done nothing. It's all up to you!

There are many great companies and many success stories in Network Marketing which shows that Network Marketing works and it works great! That is not the question.

So the question is ... Will Network Marketing work for you?

You've seen it on this forum many times ... it's all about Mindset.

You have to have a burning desire to succeed.
You have to take Massive Action
You have to be persistent
Believe in yourself, your company, and your team
Never Ever Quit

If you can do the above then it's just a matter of time before you see success! How do I know? Because you Will Not Quit!

Network Marketing is not just about making money. It's also about Personal Growth. I always say that Network Marketing is a personal growth industry with a compensation plan attached!

Basically there is lots of help online and offline for whatever company that you are with. Become your own leader then help your team do the same.

Bingo the response that I was looking for , I was just telling someone that the other day . I've heard stories where people said that it took them 2-3 years to generate a single lead and now they are at top levels based on their faith .

I think it's all about what the person really wants , people think that if they are on a certain team they will automatically become successful . In often times they don't then they play the blame game .

No, it doesn't.

When I joined, my sponsor left. My upline later left. The upline above him left. I was a newbie back then.

I run a traditional business before stepping in MLM, and I'd be straight in saying, that the stuff I see, blame this, got to have stronger upline, smarter upline, system and all that - they'd be ripped apart in the traditonal business.

In traditional biz, there is no upline. Just you and your shop, business centre, properties.

So what does the person do?

They study the business, they create their own system, and so on.

I feel, when sponsor, upline left, it was a blessing in disguise. It was wicked! Still is. Because it gave me room to be creative, get some backbone, guts and figure it out.

I'm in UK. My upline diamond is in USA. And he travels a lot to India and all over place. So, getting hold of him, is like getting hold of Beyounce if I wanted to call her. Hahaha. Very, very difficult.

So, nah.

He/she who has desire, great desire, will figure it out.

The one who hasn't, then there we go - they found their excuse and someone to blame.

What you really need in network marketing is an awesome mentor that has seen it all and done it all. With this mentor your learning curve will be drastically cut down and you will avoid common pitfalls and you will get results much faster.

Hello Neisha. How are you?

Even though having a good mentor who is seeing success and knows the do's and do nots, that still doesn't guarantee anything. At the end of the day, I believe it is down to the INDIVIDUAL no matter how good or helpful the mentor/sponsor may be.

Their is no point in having a good sponsor if the individual themselves are lazy and can't be bothered to put on 110% effort/commitment into the business in order to see results.

So at the end of the day, it would be helpful yes but ultimately, that person can only succeed if they have the desire to do so and are willing to take the necessary steps.
