Five Areas Must rank a ten when looking at a network marketing company in order for my leaders
and I to turn our heads. We do our homework with a company knowing we are staking our creditabilty
and time persuing.
These are the five areas:
Company: Strong Management team must have industry back ground and debt free
Product: Must be consumable, unique is a bonus, emotional is a home run
Comp Plan: Team Building, simple, duplicatable, and high pay out
Training & Support: Company must have strong, vast training and support, and top leaders
in the field to lead with.
Timing: Key is when you find the right company to take action before everyone has heard of it
To answer your great questions:
Product, in the health and wellness industry addressing these concerns
80% of the population over weight (un-healthy fat) & Toxcity.
The owners have industry background and have a strong infastructure in place for huge growth.
People who know you want to know what your doing, you have compelling evidence and they want
what you have. When you've got the gift many want what you have.
Target market is all who desire less stress, less fat, overall health and wellness, increased mental clarity,
better sleep, less joint discomfort, healthier heart, increased performance, lean tissue, increased energy,
and wealth to name a few.
Some will, some won't, who's next.
What If this is true:
You can start a big business for less than $500 bucks committ to $150 Autodelivery monthly eat your over head & in 17 months be paid between 7k-8k a week.
If you knew you were being paid stupid money would you work really hard for two maybe three years
to go where you want when you want with whom you want whenever you want.
I am!
Best success to you,
Michael Herlihy

Re: Does "The perfect MLM" exist?
No there is no perfect MLM and it won't ever exist. There are quite a few that are pretty darn close though.
Everyone has different things that they are looking for in a company. There are several basic criteria that most look at but it seems to be for a lot of people it is something little that pushes them over the edge to join a company.
For what I like I think I have found the best company: the comp plan is really good, startup and monthly costs are pretty low, the management team has a lot of experience and are good people, the services are in high demand and help people immensely, part timers and full timers can make money. Overall it is as close to perfect as I think I will find.

Re: Does "The perfect MLM" exist?
I would have to say YES.
The 5 components I look at are:
Product - Is the product/service something the marketplace WANTS to buy, not something I have to SELL...plus something I can have some passion for (truely believe in the product)...plus the VALUE is readily evident, you don't have to explain why the product costs what it cost. There should be no question or explaination needed regarding the product being worth the price.
Company - For me this is all about integrity, reputation, and support
Growth - What is the growth rate for the business...be careful of overly saturated markets and products. If you think you can grow way more rapidly than the overall business, you are probably kidding yourself.
Team - Can you join a group that is a proven "been there, done that" team who are truely willing to help you by learning, collaborating, and sharing. This aspect is the one I think many just starting out tend to not give enough emphasis.
Compensation and Cost - Does the comp plan reward you well for your sales + your efforts to develop and lead your Team. Cost is simply a function of whether they are trying to make money off sign-up fees. If yes, be careful (that shouldn't be the point). A sign-up fee (or any fees for that matter) should not be about anyone making money. Money should be made only from the purchase of high quality products by end consumers. Neither you or the company should be making money off of sign-up fees...IMHO. It's just not a sustainable model otherwise.
Do such MLM's exist. Sure! You just need to find the one that best suits you. When you do, you'll know you have found a place where you can succeed and thrive.
All the best,
Ken

Re: Does "The perfect MLM" exist?
Obviously no MLM is perfect. Why? Because it involves other
human beings and interaction. So everything else is a moot
point. But if I had to generalize and fantasize it would be
the following criteria. The perfect company is the one
you will work at and build.
phone companies, gas cards, technology based, fads, buying clubs, XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
1.) Definitely consumable type products, but with a sizzle product lead in.
2.) A company that is at least 2-3 years old and most of the bugs have been worked out.
3,) Owners who have not served jail time, or have already bankrupted several companies.
4.) A Lead generation system to plug into.
5.) A comp plan that is fair to the part-timer, but also fair to the full-time biz-builder.
Sort of a hybrid comp plan. A fast start bonus, unilevel with a breakaway component.
Neither top or bottom heavy.

Re: Does "The perfect MLM" exist?
There is no such thing as a perfect MLM
It is only as good as the Marketer.
I believe that the Marketer is the MLM.
That's why i always say to my team, it doesn't matter what company or product
they represent, what matters is how well they represent themselves in form of
using the fundamentals of let say Traffic Formula
Branding themselves first, building a list and then presenting the opportunity of MLM.
That is the way of making the MLM not perfect but good.

Re: Does "The perfect MLM" exist?
Nothings ever perfect, but their are some very good MLMs out there,I try to base my decisions on first who are major players, owners, and reviews of the MLM itself.
From there what kind of support dose the MLM have, and are they responsive to my e-mails or phone calls.
what kind of training materials are available, there are many other variables that one should inquire when joining a MLM,but in the end it all boils down to a personal choice by each individual.

Persistence and Determination is a must, training plus action equals success !And above all else don't ever quit.

Re: Does "The perfect MLM" exist?
If indeed a perfect MLM exists, all distributors in this planet will flock to it, and within minutes...the competition will be so great that the market will be saturated instantly.
From a macroeconomic standpoint, the beauty and 'perfection' of the MLM industry lies in the fact that it can flex itself to fit different industries, and thus majority of distributors from varying companies will not find themselves in conflict and competition with each other.
In simple terms, my answer is NO. The perfect MLM does not exist.

It's all about preference.

Agreed.
Absolute perfection is pretty much impossible. Since we are all different people, there will never be anything that will be perfect for all of us at the same time.

The perfect MLM is like the perfect car, the perfect wedding dress and the perfect anything else.
The eye of the beholder makes all the difference. Even if we all agreed on the criteria to evaluate MLM’s it would mean little to everyone. People join you, You Inc, and if the program you are in is a good fit for you and your passion, success is likely. The more out of sync you and your program the less likely it will work for you.

Re: Does "The perfect MLM" exist?
I thought I would never get into a MLM because I did not want to have to bug my friends and family. Having said that I must admit I am in a MLM program now. I did not join with the plan to build a big team to make money. I even told my sponsor that I would not do home parties, meetings, or bug my family and friends.
I joined because I like the product and what the product could do for me. Using the product I could save money on what I was already doing, make money, and provide a valuable service to my friends, family, or anyone. This product alone gives me a way to work from home and create an income stream outside the MLM system. I have earned my start up investment back by what I have saved and made without having to sign up a single person.
Now, after seeing for my own eyes how fun and easy it was for me to make money from home I no longer have my hang ups about selling to my family and friends and have started to build the MLM side.
My MLM is a debt free company, has a low start up investment, great comp plan, many training options, a product that is a stand alone income stream, and is in one of the largest industries that will not bubble.
But to me the perfect MLM is a company and product that fits my needs and wants . I wanted a way to make money from home without having to "sell" to my family and friends. So, when I saw how this company could save me money on what I was already doing and earn and income without having to build a team I was in.
