I must admit, now that I read some of these replies that my stance is softening. But now I feel as though I must unleash the power of teen-age dominance...

My daughters Briana and DaiJanee CAN NOT and WILL NOT be expose to this threat on my pocketbook! I REFUSE to allow OMGWTFBBQ to deter me from keeping me from establishing the iron fist that I have put down as the barometer of my expectationsof them to giving me their undivided attention that I so demand!

OMG, you guys are just too much!!! Nobody is running and hiding here, everyone that joined got an e-mail this morning and all that didn't already earn money will be getting their money back and those that did earn money will get it as scheduled on the 15th! Nobody was out to get anyone, this was a brilliant idea and a great service to be had. It enabled ANYONE to be able to get a text from their facebook, not just the people with expensive iphones and blackberry's! Geez what a terrible thing for people to be able to get a service they and all their family and friends can actually use, pay $5.99 a month and be able to earn $2.00 back residual off everyone they told about the service. Give me a break people, IMO your making yourselves look bad by dissing on a very simple and easy concept that actually WORKED! Verses the buisenesses that you guys promote that cost a small fortune to get into and God knows how long to begin to make some sort of profit! So bash all you want, I think it was an Awesome concept!

If they give everyone's money back, do you REALLY think you are going to be paid commission? That they are going to cough up the dough out of their own pockets to pay commission to you for people that requested a refund? Really?

When you get your commission payment, let us know, okay? I got a feeling you aren't going to get it.

And from where I can see, it DOES violate Facebook TOS, because a) people were spamming the hell out of everyone, USING FACEBOOK'S NAME, b) people were sending all that spam alluding to the fact that this was something Facebook was doing, when in fact it was a third party app, and NOT something Facebook endorsed.

Well, Well, Well, these no good scoundrel's just gave EVERYONE their money back! I got my refund TODAY!!! They were so out to just make a fast buck! NOT!

I'm glad you got your refund. I never said they were scoundrels, or out to make a fast buck. What I said ( and I have no idea why I'm bothering to repeat myself, when it's clearly there in the quotes), was that there was NO WAY they could pay commissions AND refunds both, like some people seemed to think they would. There were people waiting on their commission check. If they gave everyone's money back, where is the money going to come from to pay commissions? Did you get your commission check too?

Thought I'd kick this discussion back into action rather than starting a new one ....

Chat 2 Text is re-launching 27th of February with an expanded service. I'm using this as a kind of experiment (Scientist in me) to watch the viral power of 'Internet Network Marketing' through Social Networking sites to the masses!

Paypal will be refunding all money previously paid and, if you joined before you will need to log into your back office and re-submit billing details - just do this quickly so you don't lose your downline.

Love or hate the mindset of people using this technology it's growth (before Facebook shut it down) was staggering (in the vicinity of 24,000 instals in 4 days). Now the application will be a stand alone one with access through their own website as well as Facebook, MySpace and Bebo - things could really get interesting. They are talking about the ability to imbed this service into ANY website! So you could have a chat to 'your cellphone' feature on your website.

I guess I might see it different if I found value in the service. But I don't. I hate texting, I would rather actually speak to a live person, and the idea of random people (people I don't really know) having the ability to send me text messages all day to chat while I'm trying to get other things accomplished, well, that just flat out sounds annoying. I have voice mail, my phone number and email address is published on my website, I can answer the messages at my leisure, and return calls just fine that way, without hurting my thumbs trying to type out what it would take me half a second to say in a person to person phone call, and without my phone dinging every 4 seconds for a new text message.

I tried to have a business discussion using twitter DM's the other day and was annoyed as hell.

I know others see this as a great thing, and more power to you, but I just don't get it.

I could totally understand this thing if it was a chat window that directs straight to cell phone... but effing hell... I'd have to hire an assistant to keep up. I'd rather be calling people that give a rat's backside.

Some of these MLMs are not all crooked. I've been playing with Shopwurld, and I could care less if my friends join. I was looking to purchase a total gym, and it turns out I can get free shipping and save $64 on a total gym. I've been talking about it on my Radio Show
