I think there is also a third category out there. You can follow-up like a winner, a sucker or not at all. It can be easy to get caught up in the marketing side of the business and neglect the networking part, especially if you're working online. There is no substitute for personal contact.

No question the fortune is in the follow-up. It amazes me how many people obsess over generating X amount of leads each day (I'm guilty myself at times) but fail to follow up with targeted prospects who have showed a vested interest in the business opportunity you have put in front of them.
It really comes down to the old sales adage: "spend more time with better prospects."
It really isn't who has the most leads, but who converts leads into sales. This is something I have preached and preached on with regards to converting web visitors into subscribers, & then converting them into lifelong, paying customers with a solid back-end funnel!

If your not going to follow up why do anything. It shows that you don't have a business model set up and your chances of success are cut in half. Following up like a winner is super important!
