90% of sales are lost due to not following up or not following up enough times.

According CHI on 2% of the population is ready to buy anything at any given time. Only 1% of sales are done of the 1st contact and 80% of sales are done on the 5-8th contact your percentages are only increased if you follow up more than 8 times.

Which method of follow up works best?
Do you let the auto responder do the work, or do you reach out and call the prospect?
Do you email them? If the numbers are correct, how often do you email them to follow up and present your self and why they should join you?
Just looking for some feed back from the community

And despite that Chris, people still fail to follow up and then wonder why they got no results in their business.

Hey Dusty how you doing?

If people leave their number then I would advise calling them as soon as you can. Most people do not though and so the best option would be to email them. Emailing them is a LOT better than doing just nothing.

In terms of how many emails to follow up, I would advise the first email to be a simple welcome one and then follow up with another one around 2-3 days later. You shouldn't tell them to join you or give them reasons straight away. Make THEM join you, not you telling them to join you.

Be helpful, keep things simple and offer solutions to their problems.

I hope that helps bud. :)

Hey Dusty,
You want them in your pipeline and have good value with your auto-responder letters. You don't want just a bunch of advertizements in all your emails. If you are familiar with attraction marketing you understand if not then Check out my article http://www.betternetworker.com/articles ... d-business

If you are in this business for the long haul you need to pick up the phone and talk to your prospect.

Thanks for the tips Saqib and Jay, I do call and follow up with emails, I do see a fair number of fake names and or fake numbers, I think most people online are scared to pick up the phone, or answer or return a phone call, they are just surfing the net and might or not be looking to join a business.

I do try not to puke my opportunity on people, I try to connect and try to establish actual relationships so that they can get to know who I am and what I am doing.

I appreciate the feedback and support!

Where are you getting your leads? Are you buying them? I have had many up to 80% bad names and number and emails when I buy. I don't get too many fake names that opt-in to my list. What kind of offer are you getting? I require double opt-in that way I am more likely to get the best email, if your offer is good they will. You have to give a more perceived value of your offer than their name and email

People buy when they want to buy, not when you want them to buy.

I have a rule about following-up. I never stop until they die or unsubscribe.
