Funny, the directions our lives take for success.

Funny, the directions our lives take for success. Committing to a journey of personal development is the best investment of time and resources in our lives. The benefits are far reaching, not only unto ourselves, but all those we have the privilege of connecting with in our travels.

Being an avid reader of quality personal development books; I've found approaching each experience as unique between me and the author, while keeping an open mind, exhilarating and liberating. This activity has fueled my optimism, hope, and enthusiasm for experiencing all aspects of life without limits. What new direction have these experiences led me, you ask? Let me share with you my genesis of growth.

Almost by accident, while recovering from my stroke and unable to work my business as I would like, I started experiencing exposures to the internet and affiliate marketing arena. I felt this would be a good time to investigate this new paradigm and see where it leads. After becoming grossly overwhelmed by the number of "newbie, we can do it all for you and you will become rich over night" guru marketed products, I learned to search out reliable sources of information. My goal in life is to always locate those people who are active, knowledgeable, and experiencing the success I desire, for true information and guidance.

This search led me to http://www.warriorforum.com, http://www.abestweb.com, http://www.affilorama.com, the purchase of a quality affiliate training product called Affilimax Conversions, and participation in Ed Dale's 30 Day Challenge. I found this information so totally overwhelming, sounded like Greek, yet very exciting and challenging discovering this new world. I can't even begin to describe what I have learned on this journey so far. Adopting the attitude that anything is possible, there are no limits on my abilities or what can be learned, the satisfaction of experiencing the results of "knowledge applied," this process alone is exhilarating.

Soon, the results of my new journey will be revealed with the goal of improving the lives of others in several ways to attain success. Will all of this effort, time invested, and plain work be of benefit to others? The answer is yet to be revealed. No matter what the results, the key is just loving the "process of discovery" and application of knowledge through focused actions. Isn't that as life should be?

Note: Yes, this does have a great deal to do with NWM/MLM as it directly applies to how to effectively and more efficiently market on the internet. This discovery process has amazing applications to working a NWM/MLM business.

Personally...

..the key to personal development is to find our real you to make the journey..

We are constantly drifting away from our real self..the "Being" that we are not aware
who we really are..

When we drift away we are in the dark..when we are our real self we are in the light
meaning we actually see how things really are and not the way we imagine it to be..

P.S. Great post!

Dean, thank you for your response and post. I've learned, through hard experience, to determine clear and concise goals, focus, adjust, and move on, looking back only to learn from the past to move forward more enlightened.

Rey, Man! That is some deep thinking there. I don't know how you got there from reading my post. Since engaging in my personal development journey I've learned to be in alignment with myself and my core beliefs. Adjust or replace habits not embracing who I am "Being" and accepting challenges with positive expectations. The key is to identify one's "why" and purpose, develop a congruent vision and mission, develop direction and goals based on this discovery, obtain knowledge, and take positive action on a daily basis towards the goals.

Great input and thank you for your thoughts and comments.

Personally...

..when we align ourselves that is all that is required..we are human beings but
it's the being that is life..not the human body..

How can a person like myself have gone so far and took people from the poorest
neigborhood to a new life..Was it me?..of course not, not the me in my practical
life..but the being..Our human body does not know that it exist and the reason
why we are directing ourselves with images..

Here is something that most people are not aware and should be because it would
make our lives better..

Notice when we drink water..we already picked up the glass before we do..we already
took a drink before we do..it's in our stomac before it gets there..

Without this knowledge..we can't do things one step at a time..meaning, our mind
keeps drifting..

By the way..I have been in personal development for fory years and I don't mean one
year multiplied by forty in knowledge..

Thanks for sharing..
