When I first started blogging, I thought those nice little blog comments that you got from folks were nothing more than just that – nice little comments.

I thought they were just a way for your reader to let you know what they thought of your blog and really nothing more. And frankly, I just thought it was a way for people to spam you with their websites by blasting your posts with their comments.

It wasn’t until about a month ago that I saw the FULL power and spectrum of why these sweet little comments were actually Powerful and Mighty beasts that you should be utilizing extensively in your blog marketing strategy.

Blog commenting is a must to be a full rounded marketer. Can't have any holes in your marketing. My friend that is one of many strategies that are so little but go such a long way. Back linking is a must! Nice blog post BTW-- Feels good to discover this amazing world called "Internet marketing"

Hey Guys,

I wouldn't just keep it down to "blogs"...

We should be leaving comments on Blogs, Videos, Articles, Wiki's, Forums, Social Networking Sites, Social Bookmarking Sites, etc...

There are TONS & TONS of sites out there that are "hungry" for comments and that are alreadt getting tons of views and hits. Yet very little people take advantage of this to the fullest.

For me, I set up "Google Alerts" on my keyword terms and whatever comes up... Video, Article, Bookmark, Whatever... I leave a valuable comment!

Its thinking outside the box like this that helped me start KILLING IT when building traffic to my sites.

In this video I show people how to track their Personal Brand using Googel Alerts. So the "Setup" will be the same and you will learn how to set it up here... But instead of using your name as the "keyword" you will use your "actual keywords"... Or do what i do and use both + competitors names, etc...

The original post I wrote on my blog related to just blog comments, as that is my focus. I want to drive traffic to my blog and generate leads from it. Much like the nerve center that Dillard talks about in TFII, and Jimmy Davis/Dennis Karganilla talk about in their 90 day challenge.

Your blog being the nerve center that all other info comes into or out of - depending on your desire and focus.

But, as Kevin is stating, you can certainly get more comments for all sorts of things like videos, articles, or even forums like here in Better Networker by using what he was talking about in the earlier reply.
