I hope most of us here have an email list. This is how you can pull people into Facebook that is interested in your product....

You can manually search your subscribers on Facebook. About 75% of your email list are on Facebook. You can search by typing in their email address. You will be surprised how many of your list is on Facebook. When you get a result, invite them to be your friend. Write them a quick message letting them know that you want to know them on a friendly level. Don't advertise to them. This will create friendship and trust while you are sending them information on your list. The conversion will be more higher for you that way. This works with any niche...

I put a pay per click ad on facebook, ran it for 3 weeks........ click clickity click click click!! but NOT ONE phone call, or anything else. Did they click on my website? I don't know, but I've learned that my products are sold person-to-person for a reason. In my opinion, advertising is the biggest waste of time, money, and energy in the world. I've found that to be true in my local dump truck business as well. Paying for yellow page ads, 10 foot signs at convenience stores...... all a waste of hard earned $$$. Word of mouth referals is the only thing that really has worked for me.

A couple of observations, if you are advertising just the product, the chances of response unless you are using saturation are small, saturation is expensive.

Facebook is a different animal, if you advertise, make sure you send people to your fan page, not your website, second, make sure you have value at the fan page, in other words you have posts, videos, etc that people will love to see, questions about the products will come naturally, facebook is a science..I am still learning..

Mario,

You should create a Fan Page. Your Fans are separate from your friends. People will then click on your advertisement and become a fan of your Fan Page. You will then build your list and market to that list. I'm doing exactly this and building my list. You need to be prepared to constantly monitor your advertising to see where you get the best results.

What you should do is create a fan page. Encourage people to click the "like it" button. Once they click that, offer them a great value to what you have to offer, which redirects them to your website. I hope you have created a link for your prospects to subscribe to your informational product. Having both of this in your Fan Page will create you to have double subscribers to your Facebook and autoresponder.

Now since you use ppc through Facebook, this will help you reduce your cpc everytime someone clicks the "like" button. I hope that helped you a lot.
