With the power of the internet we forget the main goal and nature of our industry, which is to build relationships. Internet is an amazing tool, but it is just that. Yes, I think the idea is to be ourselves and really help "give without want". This has always work online and offline and it always will. Some people have comment here that even helping one person at the time could be sometimes more effective than to be all over the net without helping anyone. (many sees us, but we are not helping them).
It is better to have 10 or 20 people in your team that you trully help and network with than e-mail thousands and don't care about any of them. (Mike Dillard doesn't have the biggest list of followers in the industry "according to him" but he really builds an excellent relaionship with them)
