I am a newbie in networking HELP

Postby sandino del castillo on Thu Sep 16, 2010 8:14 pm

well first off i would like to start by saying I joined one company which i presumed to have a very good marketing plan. I've been in the company for a month now but I am having difficulties meeting prospects and convincing them about the deal.

I personally think that it is in my lack of skills that gives me a hard time. And i would really thank you if you ,in any way, might help me how i can advertise my company online. I am from the Philippines and i seek partners outside my country please help me how and where can I advertise my company where people can see them.

Thank you very much

Hi Sandino,
A big welcome to the online business world!

Sorry to hear that you are finding problems marketing your business. What approach are you going for? Do you have any training available? If so listen to training whenever possible, even in the background while working. If you don't have any training available try this out for $1 http://tinyurl.com/ydtxzq4

Have you tried social media marketing? It's a great place to connect and meet new people.

It doesn't matter if you're in the Philippines because with the use of the internet you can contact any part of the world from your computer.
All the best

You can learn in various ways:

1) Take a look into BN member's blogs.

2) Take a look at the articles @ BN

3) Invest in your education and start one course, learning it, implementing it, and moving to the next.

The following is VERY IMPORTANT. In order to succeed in this industry you must be able to provide valuable for other people. The reason people are going to join you in this business because there is something valuable that you are going to offer them. Master a skill, get very good at it and move on to the next.

I'm a little curious to find out where your sponsor is? You know - the person who signed you up into the business.

Normally it would be that person's responsibility to mentor & guide you in building your business!

Please enlighten us.

Cheers

Sandino,

I would recommend uploading a picture to your profile too. It helps make a "connection". You are ahead of the curve in that you realize that it's not the company you are associated with but rather your lack of marketing experience.

True, you should check with your sponsor in the company as well. They may be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi Sandino

Sorry to hear about your first initial experiences, unfortunately I've heard this so many times, so you really are not alone.

You have two decisions, you either give up on your so-called mentor who happily took your money and then disappeared... and do this on your own.

And yes I do mean on your own. Of course there are sites like this where everyone will help you as much as they can but ultimately it is down to you. You have to have the motivation to get into gear, put the first experience behind you as it hasn't helped and move on.

The first thing you need to do is upload a photo and sort your signature out. You do this in the User Control Panel and settings respectively.

Once you've done this I suggest you read with a note pad and pen on here for a few hours, you will be amazed at how much you can learn. You don't need to pay for any more courses if money is tight, there is a wealth of experience and knowledge on here you just have to have patience and the willing to learn.

I wish you the very best of luck.
