Dear Carl,
I congratulate you on your dedication to the network marketing industry. There are many great companies out there and to find the one that best fits you can be a challenge.

I just recently chose a company and I would like to share the process I went through in finding my present company, perhaps it will help you in your search.



Before I joined my primary company, I looked for 4 things.

1.Product- You can't stand behind of support something you don't believe in. For instance, if you choose a business that sells nutritional products, Have you tried the product, Will you consistently be taking the product. Most importantly is it a product that is duplicated by many other companies OR does it provide relief or do something that no other company is providing. Is it unique?



2. Owners- Who are the owners? What are their backgrounds? If you google their names, what will you find? Will you find integrity? Will you find success? In network marketing, you need a leader, do they have a track record of building business' or marketing business'? Before I joined my company, I checked out the owners, They were all very successful marketers and had marketed products on TV that I had recognized and I knew they were successful.



3. Money- This point goes hand in hand with number 2. There must be sufficient financial backing to get through the first two years of business. Most MLM companies fail in their first two years because they can't sustain themselves long enough for them to hit the momemtum stage. When I checked out the owners of the company I eventually joined, I found out they invested significantly in the company and they had the backing to fund it until it reached financial stability.

4. Timing- I knew that many MLM companies fail within their first 2 years of business, so I was a little concerned about a totally new company. But at the same time the best money can be made when a company is about to reach their momentum stage. This is the stage right after the company has made its $50 million is annual sales. This stage usually lasts about 18-36 months. If I could find the company that has all of the first 3 factors and also this ONE, I could sink my teeth into that company. I did find what I believe, FOR ME, is that company.

5. YOU- The most important part of the puzzle if you are to succeed. How do you plan to market your business. How are you going to promote the business. Can you fund your system long enough for you to make money with your company. No matter which company you choose, You must have a marketing system in place in order to succeed.



The first 4 points are why I joined the company I did, point #5 is why I will succeed in this business, The marketing system is why ANY successful networker in any company succeeds. I hooked up with an internet marketing system that will work for ANY network marketing company.

Hi Carl,
I can see your frustration in your present situation. Somehow I can't understand the logic of your present company, when the internet holds so much potential for building business. More importantly, I'd get out of that company if only for the fact that with that corporate position, chances are they might not be around too much longer.
Anyway, I took many months to search the online opportunities available out there because I had many of the same issues you seem to have. My criteria was based on seven guidelines, which you can read on my blog post More importantly, the reason for my decision was based on the fact that it is truly my own independent business. I have expert support and excellent resources available and it is very successful with the 2.0 platform, although you could use any marketing strategy you feel comfortable with. I personally use 2.0.
