I like your question Derek, why yours? I also don't feel like that is the question that is going to help you find your answer. You've already had a handful of people pitch their opportunity as being the best, what did that get you? More questions. No offence to the people that pitched you but it doesn't seem like they really read the whole post, they read the title and skipped right to post reply.

I would love to find a network marketing company that I can really feel passionate about! I love attraction marketing, but I want to feel good about the products or services that I offer as well. You're quite possibly involved with a company that you absolutely love, and I'd like to know why.

This is really about you and what you want. Before I pitch anything to you I would like to get to know you first, have a chat and find out what it really is that you are after. What program you were in before & why you didn't like it, why you chose to leave it. These are all things we need to talk about before you should be ready to commit to something new so you don't make the same mistakes you made before. I, like you dabbled in a few things without great success. Then I did find something that I am passionate about. You are 100% right you have to have the passion. Without it; I don't care how great the comp. plan is or the leadership is or even the product is you will not succeed.

So what are your passions. Do you know??? It wasn't till I did a little soul searching and realized what my passions were that I was able to find a company that ignited them and presto chango 2 months in; 85 people on my team, making a profit that is growing each and every month.

Hey Derek,

While I somewhat agree with a lot of these replies that it's all about you and not necessarily the company, I also believe you really DO have to find a company AND a product that resonates with you. If you're not passionate about the company and it's product, then you're already dead in the water.

We all agree that Network Marketing/MLM is the way to go, that doesn't mean we join the first company that comes along. For me, I tested the MLM waters in a few different companies, but there was always "something" that felt a little off with each one.

I finally came across the right one for me, which I would like to believe is the right one for EVERYBODY; however, I'm just not that naive.

It may or may not resonate with you. We find that when people are introduced to this company, especially those already in this industry, they either get it right away or they don't. If they don't, chances are they never will, so we move on and focus on those that get it.

Let me ask you a Question. Why would I want you on my Team what would you bring to the table. I would have to determine if you are worth my Time. If you want to find an opportunity, just go to the opportunity section and find companies that you think you may like and then do your research on them.

I totally agree with you. I cannot work any business unless I have some sort of passion for it. I know a lot of times people will say that people join MLMs for the money. And, if you follow the system and you have great leadership and comp plans and all that, then you will do well.

There is also another popular saying that people join people, not systems. I agree to that "somewhat". And, I say somewhat because if the company, product, service, etc has no appeal to me, I cannot get excited about it, and no matter how good the training and people are, I cannot go out and market it.

To me, it's not about doing well. I know that might sound stupid to many. I am not involved in MLM to make big bucks. That would be a nice outcome, but it's not my goal. My desire is to find what I am passionate about, what makes me want to get up in the morning, what makes me want to tell the whole world about what I do, etc.

And, to be honest, I am still sort of searching for it myself. My passion is being a mom and wife. If I could get paid for that, it would be awesome. Oh, I also enjoy playing ice hockey, but don't get paid for that either.

Some of the things I do, I really enjoy. But, there is no one company, great opp that is going to solve everything I am looking for.

Interesting post, I hope you find what you are looking for. Amongst all your replies, if you get time to reply I would say I can offer you what you are looking for. I love my business and company and can offer you the leadership to succeed. It is in the personal development industry, and the products will uplift you, and make you know that anything is possible. We have the backup of one of the biggest comp plans on the market which is highly successful and easy to follow. We use techniques from the secret, so if you loved it, it may be for you. I don't want to sales pitch you, and I'm not full of rubbish. I'm from Australia and work at home with my two little ones and wife- good luck with your fourth by the way, I have enopugh trouble with two! Anyway, if it sounds good- let me know. Otherwise I wish you the best for your ventures and am sure you will find what you are after with someone on this network.

Hey Derek!

Yep I totally get how you feel - knowing that this is something you'd like to get involved in as you can see the huge potential in network marketing but wanting to make sure you feel fulfilled and passionate about something too....I've been there myself!
At the end of the day everyone here has their own opportunity that's important to them, and sometimes it take a while to find the right 'fit' for who you are - only you know what is important to you.
For me it's always been health, nutrition and helping people to create toxin free environments. That resonates with me, as does working with likeminded individuals who are passionate about their own and their families health. I am in the extremely fortunate position that my passion enables me to benefit extremely well financially also, and for that I am truly grateful.
