I have been going back and forward with myself about this topic for sometime now... So I thought I would ask my BN Family.
Here's my Dilemma:
I had an account with Empower Network but I took it down; however, I see websites ranking in the search engines using Empower Network and my reason for taking it down in the first place was I thought it would take to much of my time.
I have never really tried promoting Empower Network I put up one video but people are so lost in the quick money they can make from affiliate commissions from selling the system that they fail to see the big picture.
I also don't agree with all you have to do is blog everyday marketing message, I feel this sends the wrong message and really isn't fair to those who really want success...
My last Dilemma is "Branding" I don't think that Empower Network should be your main blog like most people are using it for, and I have found it hard to explain to new network marketers why they should still have they own Blog and use Empower Network to help them rank they blog in the search engines to get some exposure.
Then for the people who join if something else go wrong with getting paid on time then they are gone as fast as they join that about sum it up in a nutshell. This brings me back to my question Is Empower Network worth Joining?

Re: Is Empower Network worth Joining?
Anything you do to advance your training and experience is well worth it.
You are getting that exposure and experience in writing articles. You are branding yourself in the marketplace. When your name pops up often enough on the website, you are letting yourself be known as an authority on the subject. You will gain followers over time.
You are gaining experience when joining anything whether it makes you money or not. You are finding out what works best for you. There are additional tools out there you have to experience and know how they work before you start shutting them down and not using them.
You will never know something unless you tried it, good or bad. The main thing is to not let it sit there and not use it, then say is it worth joining.

I totally agree that you have to be willing to make your mistakes; however, I don't think that's the problem. I do not agree with the marketing messages, that empower network promote and I know I was not going to be telling people all you have to do is blog everyday.
If I made a sale or not didn't matter because in my personal opinion the SEO it offers is worth it to me, just to be able to shoot my site some high authority links. Plus it's going to be a niche blog for me so I wasn't worried about making money from the Empower Network affiliate system.
Thanks for the feed back you guys.

Mario really nailed it...
Everything comes back to what you make of it.
It's like buying a log cabin kit...
There is a process for delivering the kit to the plot you've created to build the cabin.
However, if you fail to prepare the location by leveling the ground, pouring the foundation and planning the placement of the cabin in that location, then you're going to run into problems right off the bat.
If you do not follow the instructions as outlined you will not get the results, i.e. a properly built log cabin, the way you are expecting it to turn out.
You can take the logs and throw them around and "wing it" all you want,
but you won't get the cabin you paid for.
So the question is, WHAT is it exactly that you want to accomplish?
If you don't identify WHY you join something, then HOW will you measure it's effectiveness?
People are too scattered.
Constantly chasing the new thing, the new trend, the new fad, the new diet.
You have to start by getting focused and follow through with one thing at a time.
That's your foundation.
You wont be able to definitively say that something works or does not work until you thoroughly implement it and test it from all angles and follow the blueprint.
I'm not a member of the program but the principles are universal.
Decide what you want, find a blueprint that matches that goal, then stick to the plan till you've built what you want. Rinse & Repeat.

Re: Is Empower Network worth Joining?
Here's what I would do if you're sitting on the fence about it Bill, even though I'm not with EN or a big fan of it, but they do get some decent rankings only because of their blog network growing with new members and activity on the network mainly.
First off, get your own domain name at say godaddy (that's where I get them anyway) then get a dedicated WP hosting account with full support. I can tell you where I host my blog off the record, and it's a great service for many reasons, so if you want more info about it, just ask me if interested.
I can go into more details about how you can possibly use EN in conjunction with your own dedicated blog, and hosted domain, but I get paid for consulting and I'm not going to give all my advice away for free if you know what I mean, because in the end everybody must get paid, and you have to pay to get quality and that's just how life is most of the time.
Anyway, I hope this helped a little with your dilemma. HF snackhealthysnacks

Re: Is Empower Network worth Joining?
People who are really kicking it in Empower are the ones who are so passionate about the thing that they shout 'Empower' from the rooftops.
If that's not you (and it's not me) probably best to politely decline joining. Not that the program is expensive; it's just adds a pesky to-do to an otherwise straightforward business.

You know, I do agree with Richards comments, its what you make of it, and for the most part, people are far too scattered in their approach, promoting everything under the sun if they think they can make a quick buck.
I'll admit, maybe you can, maybe you can't but it was the most interesting "launch" i've seen in a long time. Everyone and their brother were promoting it, spamming it all over Facebook, and even auto-dialer messages, absolute craziness.
In the end, their marketing message will be appealing to alot of people....making things seem easy. The reality is far from that, but I can definitely see how people are drawn to it.

100% Commissions says it all pretty much. Translation, easy money and little or no work to get your measly 25 bucks back, and if you really want to torch your pocketbook, pay EN another 4 or 5 hundred bucks and get your kicks and it's not on route 66, but the route on your way to being hundreds of bucks poorer for what?
Training I can get from Big Al, Dani Johnson, Randy Gage, and others that have proven and solid track records of success. While one of the many Johnnies come lately rakes in the bucks by upgrading these people and doing PLF after PLF within EN to suck even more cash from their raving fans and followers who are working harder than ever now to recoup what they just spent.
I just don't get it??? We don't need another gazzillionth training from some new source to make money, just get to work and start utilizing what's already out there and has been for decades now. Anyway, my two cents on this EN deal again for what it's worth. snackhealthysnacks
