I found your post to be educational as well.

Strange thing is I actually had to go back and read your initial post because some of the response you are getting here is quite hostile in defending Empower Network yet you did NOT mention a name of a specific company, person or system...(hmmmm, scratching my head )

Anyway... I hear what you are saying and I totally agree.

It's marketing like this that gives our industry a BAD NAME and I choose not to partake in it.

But... as you well know we ALL have our perceptions of what the TRUTH is.

Doesn't make us right or wrong...

Our own perceptions are what allows us to be able to sleep at night (or not) and be able to STOMACH ourselves (or not) when we look in the mirror everyday.

Touche to you for NOT being a WUSSY and speaking your mind and by NOT CALLING OUT a specific company, person or system by name in your initial post but providing food for thought for folks who may be looking at compensation plans out here on the Internet that are claiming 100% commissions!

Love the song Shelly ! Thanks for your supportive and encouraging words and I know we're on the same page when it comes to integrity or lack thereinof.

Took me awhile to realize "Wait a minute, we couldn't do this offline, why is it acceptable online !" The next thought was "Wow, enough complaints and the whole industry is going to be reeling from a massive crack down". I wasn't kidding when I said the newspaper was as responsible as the advertiser. Massive fines and jail terms were very real and ignorance on our part was no excuse.

Most MLMs are very cautious what distributors can say re: their products, in fact some don't allow you to publish any more that what's in their literature. They get it.

Internet marketers will be next. It's just a matter of time and in the meantime I will continue to provide educational tidbits when I see such blatant misinformation being fed to people who don't understand how it all works.

Well I hope someone will be awake to read my humble post lol!
You know it's like anything as a Purchaser/Buyer you have to show an amount of due dilligence when exploring a new venture.
If you are personally satisfied with your findings, sufficiently so to proceed then so be it!
I am involved with a company who offer 100% commissions and I researched the compensation plan and commission structure within it, to ascertain that I am happy that commissions due to me are paid at 100%.
I am making money and I feel I am able to promote the business to other people with my head held high. I think it's when people don't understand the plan and knowingly or not give false or misleading information.
I myself am happy with my decision irrespective as to what others say or feel, and so should everyone else be in their Business decisions. After all none of us like to think we're involved in a crap venture, or that we've been had!
Others are entitled to their opinions and Joyce you are quite right you have provided some very valuable information for some who are looking at the EN opportunity to make the right decision for them going forward.
So I really don't think getting personal on here is warranted and doesn't bode well for great relations, everyone on here always has good valuable advice to offer! So on that note Greg, now Joyce has woken up you please take a Happy pill!

Hi Jayne. You've identified one of my goals: To help people from experiencing the disillusionment that comes with believing in someone or something and finding out nobody told you the whole story. This one just hits you in the face every time you turn around.

I agree with you Jayne, getting personal is like the fighters who think they can win by hitting below the belt. I don't take it personally as I have enough personal development under my belt to realize it's not me, it's just the fact I've hit a nerve and it's not my nerve, it's theirs.

YES !

It's a lie. It makes great headlines but it's a twisted way to grab attention.

Before you get involved in anything grab a pencil and paper and ask yourself how, when and on who you get paid and work out the percentages. (Example: You get 100% on your first sign up but the 2nd person you enroll goes to your upline. So you have 2 people and your commission has just dropped to 50%, and work out the rest down the line)

Then make a decision whether you want to get involved (with the truth in your pocket) and not because you got sucked into a great headline promising the world.

p.s. Want to maintain your integrity as well? Don't perpetuate the lie of 100% commission if integrity is important to you. Terrible thing to happen when you have people coming back to you, telling you, you lied to them and you did.

It is unfortunate how many get sucked into that one. You are right we won't name it here but even a very famous one out there is every other for the first 6 goes up to the upline, and it goes by sale not person.

The only people who examine OTHER companies to "expose" them are the ones
who aren't busy at work focusing on exposing (in a positive way) their own!

You won't see people at the top saying things like this in public forums.. Unless their politicians of course.

What is it that you are expecting to achieve by "exposing" someone else and attempting to cast them in a negative light? Believe me, you won't succeed at casting yourself in a positive one by doing this.. Unless of course you're a politician.

You DEFINITELY won't gain PAYING followers by this type of behavior.. Again, unless of course you're a politician.

But guess what, you are NOT a politician.

You are an ENTREPRENEUR claiming to be successful, claiming to have answers, claiming to have "what people need."

So focus on THAT.

Focus on INSPIRING people to take ACTION for their OWN lives.

You will not be able to help them do this if you are demonstrating that you are one who gossips about the lives of others.

Don't focus on breaking other companies down.

Focus on BUILDING your company UP!

I can assure you, you won't see David Wood sparking "negative" discussions about YOUR company in this forum.

But you would see him sparking POSITIVE discussions about his OWN.

If you have all the answers, show us.

As for me, Im going to continue showing the world that Empower Network DOES work, IS working, and will CONTINUE to work.

P.S. The 100% commissions' have been working out just fine for me.. Minus the nominal merchant processing fees of course.. Empower Network is the FIRST company I have seen since I was 14 (and Im 35 now) that ANYONE can do and make money with. Empower Network even helps you make money with your OWN company. There is a lot more to examine here besides the '100% commission' structure.

When I said I don't want to hear about Enmark, I meant it. I have no opinion whatsoever on the program however I've had to listen to everyone bickering and name calling for the past 2 months.

Screw this sh@#.....if it works for you fine...if not, move on
