Your product IS important - to the extent that IMO it has to be a REAL product or service - something that people can eat, drink, wear, use, whatever.

Unless you have the golden tongue and copyrighting abilities of the Mike Filsaime's of this world, you will struggle to make money with so-called 'information products'.

However what REALLY matters is this.
Your upline and you .

If you have a rubbish upline who never even calls or emails you, just dumps you when you get in his/her downline and gives you no help and support, you are really going to struggle as a newbie to networking.

I realised this when I found out that the top heavy hitters who joined Xocai first back in January in the UK had ALL been in many other opportunities previously. I'm not saying they product-hopped. They were sometimes the victim of products and parent companies that crashed and burned or were just superceded by technology and invention. The people who have done best in Xocai in the UK are directly in their teams. Below that, it's a lottery.

I don't have a very supportive or helpful upline and have had to work very hard to get the skinny on how to be successful, but the training I HAVE had from the good people at the top of Xocai - like Malcolm Peters, has taught me above all how to duplicate and pass my experiences on to my team.

A lot is bleated about duplication and 'power of two, three' whatever, but in my experience it is rarely put into practice. Consequently Networking/MLM does not have a good reputation in the UK because so many people are seen to fail through lack of support. I have to fight that every day, but its a fight I WANT to win.

Xocai is not my only online business, but I have carried the principles I have learned into everything else I am in and it is paying off there too. My other businesses ahave entry prices that ensure everyone can afford to start a home business with me

Good Day Everyone! I'd say that that would really depends on the opportunity and it's relevance to the person whose taking a look at it. Personality certainly helps. Afterall you do want to feel as though you are connecting with someone who really does'nt care about whether YOU will truely benefit from what is being offered or not. This can be done though initial communication that you have with a prospect. Are you trying to sell them or are you laying out the benefits, asking questions to determine what in your program would be most helpful to that individual. Communication makes the diffirence.

There are 4 parts to any opportunity:

1. The Company
2. The Compensation Plan
3. The Product
4. You

The 4th element is the only variable of the 4 elements. If we were all in the same opportunity every one of us would have the same company, comp plan, product"s" and they are all extremely important however the leaders who step up and become the 3 - 5% success stories are those who have spent the most time working on themselves.

It's been said that Network Marketing is personal development course with a compensation plan attached. For us to become more we must be open to growth and developing new skills. Buying tools does not make us a carpenter it is the the development and application of skills on a consistent daily basis that allow us to achieve our goals over time.
