Hi Jason,

An old friend of mine, Mike Misenheimer, from Arkansas and a very successful MLL/Networker said there are 4 essential elements to success in this industry:

1. Build A Huge Prospect List
2. Extend Invitation To Your Growing List
3. Have them watch or listen to your presentation
4. ASK FOR A DECISION!

I know that sounds a tad simplistic, but coupled with finding out what your prospective customers are having trouble with taught in the Magnetic Sponsoring eBook and Black Belt Recruiting and helping them find a solution by a caring and concerned interview is how we build a great business.

I am a strong advocate of the 3 Steps To Success; 1) Basic Business Development, 2) Intermediate Business Development, and 3) Advanced Business Development.

You're on the right track here Jason. Learn from the ones who are successful here, i.e., Mike Dillard, Mike Klingler, Ann Seig, Ray Fong, Ferny Ceballos, Tim Eryway and others. They love helping us!

Keep asking those questions, learn from the best, and give it back to those who will be in the place you are now. The successful ones will tell you that they too were once where you are now. They asked questions, learned, mastered, now share their experience with others, and NEVER GAVE UP!

I have heard numerous people say that it does not matter what your primary company is.....the product is not the important factor in success.

I agree that we have to work on our mindset and we also have to acquire certain skills to enable us to do this business. However, when we have done all that and are following through and taking action every day and are still not getting any sales, then something else is going on.

I was in the same situation as you not too long ago. I had umpteen videos on YouTube and over 50 articles with EzineArtlicles. I was getting leads every day. The result....nada, nothing. On closer examination of my (then) primary company, I realized that I was seeing the same names over and over again as the ones who were making a success of this business. They were also spending up to $40,000.00 a month (and more) in PPC ads. Who on earth can compete with that!

I was part of an elite mastermind group with the Company. There were about 20 of us in the group. People started dropping out and in the end there were only 4 of us left doing the business. The 16 that had dropped out, moved on to something else. Many immediately got results with their new endeavor.

I had decided that I was not going to be a quitter so just kept hanging in there. However, I realized that
it was insane to keep doing what I had been doing for 9 months and expecting to get a different result. There surely comes a time when you have to cut your losses and move on.

I then left that Company and joined a different opportunity. Even before I had received my product I was getting genuine interest in what I had to offer. I market a high ticket item. It is something that every person in the entire world uses and the quality of what they are presently using is so inferior and
detrimental to their health, that once they see what I have to offer and what it can do for their health,
they are sold. I sold 5 units within a 4 week period. I have literally dozens of very hot prospects.

So....what's my point....I do tend to ramble!

My point is....the very first thing you should look at is the product that your primary company is offering. You want something that appeals to the masses. You want something that is not just a frivolous item. It has to be not only wanted but needed....and if the person doesn't purchase then they
might suffer the consequences.

I definitely believe that if you find the right product and you put all the other pieces into place, then you are going to succeed.

Randy Curry here. One of the main reasons so many people get so frustrated in a lot of MLM / Network Marketing companies is because the focus for many of them is to throw your butt smack dab into the marketing & recruiting waters with little to no training to show you specifically what to do.

Hi Jason, sorry but I think you joined the wrong company or the wrong person and I do not know which MLM you are in.

The secret of success is "support" and it does not appear that you have had any, which is ridiculous really.

I work close;y with the guys who brought me into the various businesses I am in and I support everyone I bring into any of my businesses. My criterea for being "allowed" to join "the team" is willingness to work and to committ to help anyone you bring to the business. This way we ensure everone succeeeds, not everyone is accepted to join us but when they do they are never alone !


I suggest you request support from your upline or the company and if this is provided openly and free then I suggest the best option is to move on.

Randy has it right on target. Starting on social sites is great for people that want to leverage their efforts with little or no cost. If you cant invest in learning PPC strategies or separating yourself from your competition by learning to create content targeting your niche target market you could present yourself as somebody that knows how to leverage social sites like the most experienced pros. Start with one lead generation technique and get good at it. Never move on to another until you have mastered one way that works.

Really, I currently market online and offline but really Mike, Ann, MLSP all have one common thing in common, they have found out how to target and market to existing network marketers.

Really that's how you want to build your business if you're struggling. You only want to talk to other people in the field a hopefully you have the right product, right message at the right time and since over 90% of network marketers are failing. 9/10 network marketers you talk to more than likely aren't doing well and can use your help. Any of the techniques listed above will get you on your way.

PERSONALLY, I prefer offering tools to network marketers over training.

I see you have had great responses and there should now be lots of information for you to take away and digest. The fact that you are still here are 8 months is great which means your WHY is strong and you really do see the value and benefits of working for yourself, and obviously the company you have chosen have a decent marketing plan which is congruent with your dreams and goals.
