Over the last two years I have realised through experience that the best way to keep your team happy and prolong their association with you is to add the personal touches. A well timed "Well Done" gift/note/email does great things for a persons self esteem. It will encourage them to want more success. Remembering their birthdays, important events that are coming up for them teaches them that you think they matter.
Does anyone have examples of the incentives they use for their teams? Id love to get some ideas...

Re: Keeping your team happy!
Hello ayla. It's great that you brought this topic up, as it's something that many networkers overlook! You see, we are not in the recruitment or compensation plan business, we are in the PEOPLE business. "Adding a personal touch", as you said, puts you in a better position as an upline/mentor. You do not come across as someone who's just after people's money, but you are showing that you are investing in the long term relationship. There's nothing wrong with caring about people, and when you go out there in the marketplace as a real, concerned person (and when you lead your downline members that way), you stand out from the crowd of networkers because you're communicating warmth...
I do give 'incentives' to people. I stay in touch with as many people as I can through email. I do not restrict the conversations to business building related topics. I take the time to get to know my downline member/s as unique, breathing human beings and not as statistics! I've begun to learn more about them as PEOPLE and not as downline members only. It wouldn't hurt to greet them on special occasions or birthdays..etc..sometimes i send out interesting articles that I come across to. They may or may not be related to MLM, but at least it keeps the connection going!
Cheers.

Hi rachaell
The P.T. is always best!..I must say you do have a unique way of making people at ease and comfortable. I love to know all about my team and customers, i fing the best way is a random call to say HI, hows things? Hows the kids and hubby....really nothing to do with the business, just a call of genuine friendship..

It is this idea that made Art Williams a billionaire. Recognition is addictive and when you are recognizing the producers consistently they produce more and if they stop producing and the praise gets cutoff they will start working hard to get it back when they see you recognizing others.
It is hard to find but he wrote a book called "Pushing Up People" in the early 80's that covers this idea in depth.

I find that a small thing like a text Mssg to their Phone, the Mssg could be for a job well done, I thank you, a quote of the Day, Really anything get creative with it. Also I think a majority of people like Public recognition, so when your in a group setting and someone has done something to stand out give them Praise for it there. (make sure that they Like Public recognition or this might back fire on you)

Absolutely agree. Providing value through education as well as acknowledgement of goals through a friendly email or even phone call keeps people motivated and on the right track.

If you don't you will never have a successful long term business. They are the ones that your income comes from. Keep them happy.
