Having a easy system, from capturing the prospects information to then educating them on WHO YOU ARE either through video or sales page...then connecting that bridge from "prospect" to more of a personal friend.

Give something away for free, but that has value to it.

I see many giving away "ebooks" that have nothing to do with marketing or provided good content.

To me using video or linking them to a marketing blog you have created will really work effectively.

THanks for the advice, I give away free training that really makes a differnce in ones business. There is nothing out there like "success in 10 steps". I've read lots of ebook but this one has saved me years of failure and frustration. It's only the tip of the iceberg as well, we have loads of free training and a duplicatable system that anyone can use to build any 5 pillar business.

That is the hardest thing for new mlm'ers to understand.

I was on the phone with someone the other day, and they literally told me (even though our product is phenomenal), that they were signing up with me because "I" know how to run a business.

They saw the fact that I owned two nightclubs and numerous real estate investments. (i'm sure my posture in the conversation helped) But they saw I was successful, and wanted to sign up with someone who had success because I could teach them how to be successful.

There's a reason Amway is still successful, because realistically, you can get similar products at the grocery store. People believe in people.

Promoting yourself in a good way to TONS of people is the most important thing, in my opinion.

Several people have joined me not because of what I do but who I am.
In starting a business, you do have to put your face out in front of people so they will remember who you are and can relate to you and your product. If your product does well that is a reflection on you. You also become the model for the product. People can readily see what is working for you and may want to try it for themselves.

The key to success is becoming somebody who people can trust and depend on. You need to get people's respect and trust in order for them to join and leadership is not something you can attain over night. MLM business after all is a world full of people interaction. You've got to work very hard for success and you will be paid triple of that if you really deserve it.
