PLEASE LIMIT RESPONSES TO THIS SUBJECT. Please read WHOLE post before posting a response. I've read many postings on this topic. Need and appreciate YOUR help to narrow it down. Thank you!
I keep reading replies to inquiries about using Web 2.0, blogging, doing our own online marketing, etc.
Many are pitching companies with strict rules prohibiting a blog, website or just only allowing a one page site. One page? That's a blog?
Either you don't know or care about company rules, but I care.
PLUS A REAL PRODUCT. Your link/pitch must be about a real product, not all the money everyone is making. I don't want to make money from merely signing people up, but that's what 50% of the pitches are. Something I can see and read about (not just a vid). Something immediate, not make me sign a form, verify it via email, all that. Cut to the chase. Please and thanks!
Please tell me something about your product or what is does for your customers.
That's what I'm looking for: how are you improving people's lives? What joy do you derive from marketing this product/service? How does this fit in the marketplace? Unique in what way? Which marketplace? Don't go on and on about the money. I'm more product and customer-service oriented.
**DO NOT tell me to contact you and then you don't give me your email address!** By the time you respond to my Friends request, so I can PM you, I won't remember your postings. I read tons of them. I have a busy, full life, like you. I'm sure you can relate.

*Training, consulting, coaching, health and wellness, helping people get out of debt, keep their homes are more my line.*
NOT communications, or some system to get rich, nor websites which cost more than average hosting with less hard drive space and no WordPress capabilities. You know who you are.
I love to write, teach, do my own marketing (with decades of experience in those fields).
I am ONLY looking for companies which allow us to use the internet as we see fit. No spamming, no outrageous claims. Just a very personal blog about the products, link to corporate sites, link to news articles about products when available, etc.
Currently, I am not allowed to create a multi-page blog when the service is in the news, or news articles verifying the need for the product I market. That's all I want to do. NOT describe the product in detail, no training, nothing but PUBLICLY available info. But the company will not allow more than a one page site. That is my frustration.
I accept these limitations because the service is marketable and needed. However, I need/want to diversify my focus to multiple streams of income.
I want to blog and make it real, make it personable. Like I've been doing online since 1992.
Thank you in advance,
Jenny Lens

Re: MLM allow Web 2.0, blogging? LIMIT your answers!
Hey Jenny
In order to really get magnetic sponsoring, attraction marketing and to keep you and your business safe, you need to focus on the You Inc. business model.
Then it's not about your company or products (things that get you into trouble or are difficult to write about because of restrictions) it is about you and what you offer as a leader.
When you brand you and not the company or products, you are free to talk about whatever you feel will help your target market. Plus, you can use your writing skills and passion to help others get the help they need to be successful - which attracts them to you!
If you choose a new company or if something happens to the one you're in, it won't matter. You have built your business around you and your leadership. You have a list of followers and readers and they will buy or join whatever you tell them to (that is after you build a solid relationship with them by giving them the help they need first) sometimes with just one email message.
Leverage your skills, your strengths and your leadership and turn that into your business model. You will have a much easier chance of succeeding in this industry than those that simply put up one page sites and try to pitch and sell their products and business.
Plus, you can build in multiple streams of income because your primary business will only be a part of your overall business.
Example:
You have a blog that brands you and your leadership
you talk about the services you use to market your business online on that blog
you have your readers sign up to get more information on these services
then in your automated autoresponders you give them a bit more information on using the services with a link to get them for themselves. (the link is your affiliate link of course)
Your new prospects see that you offer real value and when you send out a message about a fantastic opportunity, they jump at the chance to join under you and be part of your team.
This is what our sales funnel looks like...

I hope that helps.
Cheers
Erica
