Hey guys I am back and this time stronger than ever. Anyways, in my previous months of experience I have noticed one single thing. People make it so hard and complicated to build their business!
Seriously, it doesn't take a genius to become successful in network marketing. However, what I have noticed a lot is people having trouble getting leads and yes it does get frustrating but there is many ways you can get fast results. The best way is by building online as well as offline. Online is going to take you longer to build and in my opinion way harder. Offline is duplicable, faster and easier. Not everyone has the online skills to build a business from the internet.
And guys don't make this complicated it all takes is showing a presentation to someone and following up there is no secret to success.
So many people think MLM is hard! No is not! If you have a simple system to follow you should be able to get immediately results in your first week.

Welcome back Erika,
I agree, building an MLM business shouldn't be as hard as we can sometimes make it.
I remember hearing some top leaders say that we do not need to re-invent the wheel. I know I have been guilty.
I was in both Ameri-Plan and Pre Paid Legal briefly, and I observed that the teams who started their new distributors off using offline methods, like PBR's, business briefings sharing DVD's, sizzle calls and good old belly to belly marketing got, their business established early on and they were able to duplicate it.
Afterwards they would introduce the new person to other marketing methods.
This was in 2006 and 2007 but some teams still use the above and are having success.

I personally prefer offline a bit better just because it is more likely to duplicate. It is just so much easier and I see all these people talking about how much trouble they are going through just to get few leads online. Maybe because most people do not want to get out of their comfort zone and just want to sit down at home trying to build online. If you really want to build your business fast offline is the best method.

Well there is no doubt that offline MLM still (as always) works. Online stuff is much more of a different learning curve which has it's pros and cons.
With offline, there is a whole bigger scale of ball-game when it comes to communication skills and networking. In my opinion, you can sponsor someone very quickly just by inviting someone to a presentation (which is kinda like your capture page) and then follow up as Erika mentioned.
The reason why I decided to do the online world was for many reasons. I exhausted my network too quickly offline, whereas having systems set up for you in the online world give me targeted prospects to talk to and network with. Not only that, just by spending time online, I get to learn from others in the industry that I wouldn't hope to connect with offline.
So I reckon both can be utilized to give you certain advantages.
Using some of the knowledge I gained online, I was able to attract other people in my offline community who don't really know most of the skills that us online marketers use. I literally was able to sponsor people who just wanted to know about IM and wanted to be my partner specifically for coaching purposes rather than my company products and stuff.
So yes, MLM isn't as hard, although it isn't as easy either - but it is simple.

It is not hard if...
you don't set your mind and believe that it is hard
you give yourself permission to learn and be okay with not being perfect
you completely immerse yourself in the process
you do something everyday that builds your belief
you take action everyday
you follow the system or pattern laid out clearly by your sponsor or upline

So true! I was listening to Randy Gage and if someone thinks this is hard they are right because no matter what they are going to find a way to make it seem complicated and we all know is not that way. If someone says it is easy and simple they will actually have more success to it and get results.

Well, Erika. It sounds very simple to get in on the ground floor and your business takes off like 'hot cakes.'
The truth is that the business does not do that exactly and as quickly. You do have to brand yourself online and as well to your offline prospects. Everybody is a skeptic and want to question everything and get a free sample of everything you are promoting.
The bottom line is that it does takes time, patience and of course, talking to more people. Helping others see that you are there for them in a helping way that they can achieve their goals with you.
MLM isn't hard at all. It's the people you have to convince and let them know you are there for them.

Great topic Erika.
I went through years of learning, looking for the next golden secret that everyone is still looking for but then I realized people are people wherever you meet them.
The process is the same whether you meet them in the grocery store or on Facebook - key #1. The second key was "I'm in business and I'm not going to hide behind anything else !" No I'm going to help you generate leads in the secret hope that you'll ask me about my business.
I'm in business, so are you, so let's talk. Blows people away when they find someone upfront and honest !

Re: MLM shouldn't be hard like most people make it seem
Hey Erika neighbor good to see you back! And right, because you are right there in the trenches with your group and other people on the ground in real life working as a group.
I don't think I've heard one person here at BN say it, but 95% of the people that build big huge networks always start right at home and right were they are locally, not on the Internet.
Yes, a few make it online, but it's usually a combination and the biggest factor is usually what one does offline, not online.
Learning to be a pro-blogger or professional Internet Marketer isn't what Network Marketing is anyway. To many people complicate it with too many tools, and things that are not required to build one's business online or offline.
To be more to the point, as one professional Network Marker said (and she's a multimillionaire - you may have heard of her Dani Johnson) 85% of your success in the Network Marketing industry is your people skills.
Yes, being able to deal with all types of personalities, and color types it key, if you don't have that, you are more than likely are going to fail no matter how many tools you use, unless you just want to be a sales copy specialist like I see so many gurus do, they just keep building their lists with bribes and keep pummeling you with their next "...here's how to make some money deal..." and I know from first hand experience, because I'm on about a dozen guru lists just to see how they write and present things, not to buy from them 98% of the time.
Anyway, great wisdom from Erika, and a person who doesn't even look 25! Heck, I knew you were sharp Erika, that's why we need to team up.

As much as I love creating content and branding myself online, I've seen fastest results offline simply because the system is much simpler for the average joe. From my experience people only flock to the internet because they haven't had the proper mindset training and/or poor leadership. As one of those people who went through that, got my mind right and started offline again, it's picking up a lot faster.
