1. As a consumer, do you find receiving advertising on your mobile device/cell phone useful?
If I have purposely subscribed to the advertiser it is OK and often welcome. If not, it is extremely annoying just like Spam
2. How many purchases have you made as a direct result of a mobile ad (online or offline)?
A few, mainly Amazon Kindle books
3. Do you scan QR codes? If so, do you respond/take action on the promotions?
Not often, most of the times I have scanned is to see how it works, no intent on buying anything
4. Which type of offer do you respond to more:
a) an online purchase either direct from your phone or from a computer at a later time?
Every offer I have responded to has been something that can be bought online. If it is something I want and I am researching I'll save good ads (price, shipping deals, customer service)for a later purchase. I always do a lot of shopping before buying online. I have bought from my phone many times, especially Kindle products.
b) an offline purchase such as a discount at a restaurant, local business, etc? I have not but would be open to good discounts, again, if i was subscribed to the advertiser. I have several friends who use shopping apps to get discounts like these. They get ads from the advertisers. My wife is getting it for her new phone.

Frankly I just don't get using the cell phone for online at all. So probably I am not anyone that would do any of the above. I did get a tablet, I am a visual person so its hard to do it from just titles, the abbreviated version of the social medias are confusing to me, just me I guess!

No.

None.
3. Do you scan QR codes? If so, do you respond/take action on the promotions?
No.
4. Which type of offer do you respond to more:
a) an online purchase either direct from your phone or from a computer at a later time?
Just internet online, email newsletters from sites I subscribe too but never adverts from phone.
b) an offline purchase such as a discount at a restaurant, local business, etc?
Sometimes but it's very, very rare.
Sometimes, I might see an offer offline, like sport offer, or venue offer night out. Like 2 meals free if I invite 6 people invited to the restaurant.
Or a delivery service for Pizza, was one of them before I got my own Pizza machine. I remember a flyer, which had pizza offer and I could order it online. I ordered. But it's a very rare for me. It has to have a site where I can look more, surf more, get to know company more.
Pizza flyer I knew, as I know Pizza hut so trust is there.
