Hi Ian

There are many many free methods to generate traffic and get leads. In my experience free methods can often be better than paid.

Remember though that although they are free they are costing you your time.

I would recommend you choose 3-5 marketing methods, test them, perfect them and then move on to a different method.

Also work on your strenghts, are you a good writer? if so perfect for articles etc.

I also strongly recommend you spend a few days literally with a pad and pen and come on here and note down all the fab things that everyone is doing. You will learn so much.

You can then start putting everything in place. It's often about the planning and being organised and disciplined with your time.

If you are already with Magnetic Sponsoring, then look into buying building on a budget. I have used it and am still working on everything taught in the program but I can testify that the information is priceless. I am definitely getting a lot more traffic. It gives you several ways to start marketing your business for free/cheap.

As in any other true business venture, you get out what you put in. It would be nice if there were real ways to find real leads for free, but there really is no way to guarantee what leads are going to want to become part of your business whether you get them for free or pay a lot of money for them. The key, I've found, is not in securing leads no matter the cost, it's focusing my efforts on having a prosperous orchard and getting a quality cart built before I get the apples, AND, if I've nurtured the orchard with care, the apples will already be there and ripe for the picking!

I have found that generating the most qualified online leads comes from establishing yourself as an leader on a Blog, Facebook or possibly even Twitter. Although the lead system programs are great for earning affiliate income, depending on what type of product you sell, they may not be as effective in actually building your team. Affiliate income is good, however and can fund your expenses.

Make a blog your hub and encourage comments using social networking to drive traffic. Be your own authentic self and not just a cog in another companies wheel. Stand out from the herd.

You are doing the right thing by asking people who may have more experience than you and can guide you on the right path. There are many forums out there through social networking sites,facebook and twitter included.
Make sure you have a good signature line so people are interested and will click on it.
