Definitely focusing on attending and maybe even holding network marketing events and a lot more phone calls!

Without the internet, phew, it's kind of hard to imagine.
Online gives us so many opportunities these days, that I know I've been one to take advantage of for sure.

But it's great to reflect on this, sometimes going back to the old ways doesn't really hurt especially with all we have learned thus far.

Many of us may want to forget the time before the internet.
There was a long time before the internet. We did conference calls and home presentations and door-to-door sales and handing out samples and brochures to every body we met. That was not too long ago either.
We travelled more and stayed home less and spent more money to conduct our businesses.
Even the business I am with did not offer online services until recently. Or at least it was not offered by the uplines promoting the business. Now it's offered as an online tool and in different languages.
We may have all done well before the internet evolved, but it can only get better with it.

I didn't mind network marketing before the internet because it was a matter of using the options and tactics at the time. But there's a lot of people still doing door to door sales and home presentations these days. The internet brought the network marketing industry to many more people but its now very crowded as well.

I would focus on the local market and find ways to improve my market share. I will also have invest in intensive marketing campaigns.

I would use direct response mailings (post cards, etc).

In fact even with the Internet that is a very effective strategy, if you do it right.

With the internet, fewer people are using direct mail.

That opens up the door a bit wider for those who do use it.

You will have to resort to the oldest known type of advertising. Word of mouth. I use this the most.

Lots of free samples and business cards.

Second most, I use the phone. I'm a wholeseller, when I started, even though I used the internet, I linked to yellow pages and in 25 min. I had a list of just over 21,000 phone numbers of other businesses that retail my product and started calling. Try to call 25-30 a day.

When getting people in your down line, remember, people are loyal to people, not products. Do your best to make them one of the family, so if they decide to get out they will have to reconcile with the fact they are leaving a family and not a product.

Good Luck

The same way the MLM industry has been growing before the internet was created, using the old traditional MLM techniques. They still work for some people, in a sense the internet is used the same way to the old traditional methods of marketing but the idea is to do twice the work in half the time, thats how the internet changed MLM.

People achieved highest levels of success faster online than offline.

wow, how would I ever live without the internet :o Same with my mobile phone.

I would probably use paid newspaper ads, as if there was no internet, the newspaper would become one of the main sources of information and promotion again,

and the second method I would use would probably be sign writing on my car. It would become my mobile advertisement. In fact I am going to use this method anyway when I get my new Jeep :)
