It's our signatures where people click on the links (it's up to us to write a compelling signature in order for people to click on).
I could very easily post some articles on here... some of which are pretty damn good if I say so myself, they all offer exceptional value (I've been told in the past
However, we could all do this, some of the articles would be good, some OK, some appalling and some pretty poor. But the forums would soon fill up pretty quickly (as if they don't already!) with check out my link etc.
Claire, I didn't read your article, I make it a point NEVER to read any articles that are posted on forum threads, regardless of who they are written by (including "guru's")
If you're teaching people about marketing and the No1 mistakes they make then I find it very hard to believe that you think it's OK to post articles on forums? (regardless of the value you are adding).
There are different levels of spamming, people posting links without offering value are obviously spam. But posting articles on forums in my opinion is a form of spam (although perhaps a softer approach!)
Maybe it's because I'm a mum, but I'm a great believer in rules should apply to everyone, if we all posted articles on the forums (regardless of how amazing the quality of the content and the value given) the forums would be flooded with them. The more people that continually post articles on forums with people then thanking them the worse it will only become.
Why is there an article section after all?
