Re:What are your opinions on this??
Not so sure I would wear a shirt advertising my opportunity. It brings back bad memories of the old sign on the telephone polls about making $5000/week. I'm not saying it's too cheesy, but I think you should go in a different direction. Sorry

Uhm, well... I wouldn't wear that T-Shirt, but if you can refine the idea, why not wear it to the gym or while playing basketball. Obviously you don't want to make this your primary marketing tool, as it's just trying to get random traffic basically. But if it sparks a conversation and you get a signup, that was simple.
I have this shirt, "I Pigged out at Fatty Patty's." I got it FREE for eating a pancake the size of a LARGE pizza pan (and I mean LARGE). Sometimes I wear that, and people ask and laugh about it. It's a fun conversation piece. That's why I'm thinking it's time to get my own T-Shirt!
But yeah... please don't teach the special "T-Shirt System" to all your new recruits.

Eddie123, its real easy, look at your mentors or some of the people we try to emulate.
Ask yourself this "Would Donald Trump wear this?"
"Would Robert Kyosaki be caught dead doing this?"
Ultimately what you do is your choice.
Personally I would rather vote for Bush :S

Re:What are your opinions on this??
I find it funny that a lot of people are saying would ________ do this? And my answer who be. YES. I have seen Donald Trump, Robert Kyosaki and some other big timers with T-shirts. They sell them give them away. And maybe, just maybe they wore them when they were just getting started.
Now I know I will have to work on the is going to be on the shirt, but now we are just talking about the ideal of it.
Like what was said before, this could be just a tool to draw up a conversation with someone who you might not of had the chance to talk to if they did see the t-shirt.
Here is one I just found on the net.

Hi Eddie, you look like a Class Guy. The Tee shirt, IMHO, is Not a class move, especially not in congruence with what I am getting from Mike. You are leading with your opportunity and in your T-shirt at that!
This horse has been beaten to death, I think, why not let it rest in peace? There are so many other ways to promote yourself as a marketing professional, this is not one of them.

There's a danger in emulation... it can be very hard emulating something you're not! Should we drive around in limo's and get a private helicopter because that's what Trump & Robert Kiyosaki do? Of course not. That goes back to one of the things I hate, the "fake it until you make it" mentality.
Kiyosaki wears flip-flops and tasteful Aloha shirts into the recording studio... and I'm sure he wears T-Shirts at appropriate times.
I think the point is you need to be confident in who you are, and what you have to offer people. Also... HAVE FUN! If you want to wear a catchy T-Shirt... cool. People are attracted to others having fun.
Anybody ever hear of Don Faila? Don went to all the corporate events in a comfortable hawaiian shirt... never dressed in a suit, never tried to impress with his style. He was just being himself, it wasn't the clothes that made him successful. Being an attractive leader is a lot more than what you wear.
Sorry if I'm rambling. Just... if you do a T-Shirt, make people curious without blaring "Money-Making Scheme" -- at least then you won't feel silly in public.

Re:What are your opinions on this??
Thanks again everyone for the input you have given! I have gotten a lot of needed information to move forward with this ideal. I will work on a slogan the will draw up the type of conversation I am looking for. I am planing on using this tool for the gym, putting my kids on the bus, and just little things I have to do around town. Where in most cases I would wear an army shirt or a plain white shirt and shorts. I know and understand that there is a time and place for everything, and I will keep that in mind.
Nevertheless, I have found out some valuable information here. Thanks again everyone.

Re:What are your opinions on this??
That's a great idea, we recently had a lady with 5LINX who had a similiar statement that read drive a free BMW or Bentley want to know how, then listed her number. If you have a cool logo why not use it. Free T-Shirts for kids camps, or a Turkey Run.
T-Shirts are often overlooked as are grocery bags. The latest craz are the eco friendly reusable shoppng bags that go for about $1.00 and are made of nylon. These bage are great places to advertise your business, i.e. web site, phone number etc.
Here's one I just started using, I place a letter for my business into every bill I pay. I'm paying for the stamp anyway, might as well get some extra miles out of my postage. You better believe that the person who is opening up all those bills for Citi-Bank or whoever would like to earn a little extra money.
Thats my two cents worth.B)

Hi everyone, I have been doing a lot of thinking, and I came up with a great ideal, or at least I think I did... I have made up some t-shirts to do some advertising for me. They go something like this...
Are you earning residual income??? If not, you need to call me ASAP (and then there is my number)
or
who is paying for your dream car?? Find out how I can make that payment for you!!! (and then there is my number)
That is just a few I have made. I plan on wearing them when I am just out doing my daily runs. I would like to know some of you guys input on this. Have you tried this, or are you doing this now. And is it working for you??
Thanks everyone for you input.
To your success
