The one's that say NO?
Leads leads leads leads... 25 per day, 50 per day, 100 per day, 1000+ per day.
It all sounds good.
But what do you do with all the leads that say no?
The leads that say no to your affiliate product?
The leads that say no to joining your system?
The leads that say no to joining you in your primary mlm?
The leads that say no to your high ticket program?
We're talking hundreds of thousands of leads sitting on people's lists...
So what are you doing with them?
Do you just keep slinging offer after offer at them,
hoping you pick the right offer to present someday?
Do you tell them to buy or get off your list?
And if you do, do you actually pull the trigger and cut em loose?
Do you have anything in the way of a game plan in place to process leads that say no?

Re: What Do You Do With...
Richard,
So, if you have people who have opted-in and they aren't buying anything there's obviously a problem. Your message didn't connect with them. Maybe what you said to get them onto your list and what you are offering didn't flow or resonate. There is some sort of disconnect. It would be good to find out what that is and fix it.
It might be time to take their temperature. Perhaps create a survey, offer a free report as an incentive to complete the survey and see what's really on their minds. Creating the right questions would be crucial. I think I'll do this with my list and see what they really want. (UGH, just created another project for myself. When will I ever learn?)
I'd much rather have a smaller list of highly motivated and interested folks than a humungous list of the disinterested and the walking dead. LOL!

Great comments Rick.
Surveying your list is crucial.
What better place to tap into for business than your existing list.
"Taking their temperature" is the perfect way to look at it.
What Is The Health Of Your List?
If your list is sick, look for a cure - perfect.
Something we're doing with Team Inc Pro is intentionally creating a channel for people to refer their list as an additional stream of revenue. Like an affiliate CPA campaign.
It opens the door to giving your list something else to consider that may be a good match.
Much like you would do with any affiliate offer.
It's a win-win.

Just because they say no one day doesn't mean that they will say no later on. Life is always changing. A person who you asked before may have had a great paying job at the time but a few months later he could have been laid off from work. Of course you never hope or pray for someone's situation to go bad but its a common occurence.....I myself had a great job at Altel, made a lot of money, and then I was laid off in 2007. Fortunately I've been in network marketing for almost 20 years so I didn't worry. However, if you've ever been in the room where people were laid off, you would see a lot of crying, pacing around and etc because they don't know what to do next, they realize that they will soon have no income, they are no longer in the comfort zone, they worry about how they are going to provide for their children, pay the mortgage, the car payment...everything.
A person's situation may be good one day and horrible the next day. Back in the day , I had a simple little plastic rolodex box with notecards with dividers for all 12 months. I wrote the name and number along with some personal info on each one....like name of their kids, jobs, etc. When I called someone who said no in January, I would move the card to July and check back in 6 months. Its a very simple to do and it helps build rapport to where you may catch a break.
So, don't throw away all of your no's unless they clearly tell you to never call them again. Sometimes, people need to give it some thought before making a decision

Re: What Do You Do With...
Sounds like a low quality leads problem, and you can hammer them to death with offers but more than likely you are beating a dead horse or end up picking them apart and slowly sucking their wallet dry one nickle and dime at a time, because again, they are not going to do what is required to be successful for the most part from years of experience with this type of stuff.
I heard Jim Yaggi mention something similar with offering to provide hot sales copy and email third party lists or have them email his copy (not sure how that worked out, but haven't heard much since), and he was making his money with the affiliate type of CPA and he only got a percentage of sales for doing it.
Plus it's been done so many times over the years (myself included as a test but really never got it off the ground totally) that I know it's nothing even remotely original, and it's ok, but again you end up emailing a bunch of wishful thinkers and fantasy chasers who don't really want to work, and basically taking advantage of leveraging everybody else's lists who can't make sales and you are basically saying to the list owners you are better than they are and can make sales when they can't. Plus the third party emailing thing is very touchy issue with spam issues and allowing third parties (not the original owner of the list) take control and email their list, unless of course you were planning on doing it the Yaggi way and that's what is sounds like from what I'm reading here.
Anyway, and again, it really comes down to how the lead was acquired, and what kind of offer was made originally to the person who opted-into the list. What was the person thinking when they did it, and I see so many bribe deals online with very low cost or free offers, that you don't know what the lead is worth until you really start to market to it, and again 98% are chasing fantasies and will never do what it actually takes to be successful in any business, so why try to sell them on anything but dabbling for a career, and for the most part won't invest heavily in themselves to learn advertising, marketing, and sales, and also having the ability to have at least a minimum monthly budget to work with for direct advertising and marketing on top of it all, and again most don't or are unwilling to test (maybe lose some money) test again (and maybe lose some more money or break even - very good breaking even for future dollars earned) and so they stay a lifer as a nickel and dime program chaser.
Yes, even the good book talks about "Chasing the fantasy" and so it must be true.
Well, with all that being said, Team United (whom I'm working with) the VP of Marketing (Bobby Smith), and the top two producers in the Company (and one is a multimillionaire in the industry - Christina Hodge), and Debbie Stein makes more in one week than most men do in two months are training for me, and I basically drive traffic finding WAHM to see the genius of their simple but effective system that gets people to call them (that are my leads/prospects) and they help me bring them on board our team.
The best part, the system works whether you have a computer or not, or even know how to use a computer or not, and if you know how to market online even better, but again, 70% of the MLM industry are women and working from home and most by heavy research are not very tech savvy and can maybe type and use a phone and put up a poster or signs and do some online marketing, say PPC, blog or both to get targeted traffic to their site/landing pages.
It's the way they (Kenny, Christina, Bobby, and Debbie) learned what works and I'm learning how I should have been doing it for years, but haven't, and so I always struggled, but at least usually broke even or even made some good money here and there even after heavily investing in the business, because I at least know how to sell it if I have too much of it myself.
SO anyway, the online game is great for acquisition of leads, but again, good leads are not usually free (and referrals take a lot of leg work, time and money too), and it takes a lot of testing and getting people to see what things really are before even enrolling them or selling them more stuff. And again, now I know why Bobby Smith, and Kenny and Christina Hodge, are millionaires in this industry.
I am learning how to keep things very simple and even the most minoot things are important even down to the point of enrolling a new person, on down to training them and getting them up and running successfully too, because that is where the real work begins, taking on a real sponsorship role and helping the person get going asap, and into at least a break even point and even into profit with momentum, because "timing is everything" - Bobby Fischer - and Momentum is "KEY", and without it 90% of the time the team loses, whether it be in sports or business. Chaio.
HF P.S. I see lack of focus, being a huge problem on the roads in Los Angeles here where I'm at (result; major accidents that could have easily been avoided) and mass lack of focus on the Internet with people dabbling here, and there and selling this and that, just because they have a little list, and now have the marketing Guru syndrome, and offer, offer, offer and offer until they are blue in face to their lists this and that new shinny object and maybe they even master mind, but a master mind without a specific 110% focus on a specific niche to build teams for a specific industry, are well...scatter brained and then do the guru syndrome stuff too, e.g. PFL, PLF, PLF, and then more PLF, and they end up counting in their sleep that way, "Product launch formula 1, product launch formula 2, product launch formula 3..." LOL! Ok, so no more Product launch formulas ok? Thanks. Chaio.
