What is the best "Green" MLM?

Postby Randy White on Sat Sep 06, 2008 11:56 am

Hi there.

I am looking to integrate an earth-friendly MLM into my company's technology (Bright Neighbor).

We only want to offer products and services that are vetted as being earth-friendly. No oil companies showing flowers emitting from gas nozzles or other greenwashing nonsense.

What are the best MLMs with green values and if possible, an affiliate program? Thank you for any insights.

Hi! I am involved with a internet based greeting card MLM that only uses recycled paper and natural ink!

You can send not 1, not 2, but 3, yes 3 FREE greeting cards on my website! I love perpetuating appreciation and gratitude! Let me know what you think.

That's rad, but I'm not looking to pimp e-cards.

We are seeing an entire network that offers products like the Kill-A-Watt, energy efficiency products, natural beauty & cosmetics - real, tangible things in the atomic world.

"Best" of course, is subjective. I've been with our company, Watkins, for 17 years so you can guess my opinion on which is best! :) We have several 'green' product lines.

-All Natural Non-toxic Plant-based home care products - cleaners and other home care products without chemicals - not even coloring.
-Natural Personal Care products.
-All Natural Herbs, Spices, Extracts.

We have other traditional lines of products also.

Let me know if you want more info on it. Good luck!

GMan…… I think what you have is great to. Do you know anyone who has built one and if so, does it work good? We have been looking into solar panels for a long time and the cost is what has held us back so far. If this works, it is a great thing and I would like to talk to you more about this.

In answer to the post ........... I think the e-cigarette should be considered among those great “Green” opportunities!
* No Toxins littering the air with 2nd hand smoke
* No cigarette butts littering our land
* No hot ashes to cause fires.

People can switch to the cleaner alternative which not only helps your health but also eliminates these problems:

Litter
In just one day 230,000 cigarette butts were collected from California beaches during the 2000 Coastal Cleanup Day. Cigarette butts were the number one trash item found. Over 4.5 trillion cigarettes are littered worldwide each year. Cigarette filters are the number 1 littered item in the world.

Environmental
Cigarette filters are 100 percent non biodegradable and made up of a plastic compound called cellulose acetate, which contains toxic chemicals. These toxic tactics take decades to break down. The chemicals eventually seep out into whatever part of our environment they happen to be in, whether it's on our campus, our streets, our mountains, our rivers and our oceans. They pollute our drinking water, start forest fires and cause disease and death to wildlife who mistake them for food.
Cigarette butts may seem small, but with several trillion butts littered every year, the toxic chemicals add up!

Cigarettes contain over 4000 chemicals - Some of the chemicals smokers inhale include:
1. Benzo[a]pyrene: found in coal tar and cigarette smoke and it is one of the most potent cancer causing chemical in the world.
2. Arsenic: deadly poison that causes diarrhea, cramps, anemia, paralysis and malignant skin tumors. It is used in pesticides.
3. Acetone: It's one of the active ingredients in nail polish remover.
4. Lead: Lead poisoning stunts growth, causes vomiting, and causes brain damage.
5. Formaldehyde: causes cancer, can damage lungs, skin, and digestive systems. Embalmers use it to preserve dead bodies.
6. Toluene: highly toxic, commonly use as an ingredient in paint thinner.
7. Butane: highly flammable butane is one of the key components in gasoline.
8. Cadmium: cause damage to the liver, kidneys and brain, and stays in the body for years.
9. Ammonia: causes individuals to absorb more nicotine, keeping them hooked on smoking.
10. Benzene: found in pesticides and gasoline.

Wind and rain often carry cigarette butts into waterways, where the toxic chemicals in the cigarette filters leak out, threatening the quality of the water and the creatures that live in it. Plastic pieces have been found in the stomachs of fish, birds, whales, and other marine creatures that mistake them as food, swallowing harmful plastic and toxic chemicals. Ingestion of plastic cigarette filters is a threat to wildlife.

Fires
Smoldering cigarettes are the leading cause of fire deaths in the United States. In 2001 alone, unattended or discarded cigarettes caused 31,200 fires nationwide, resulting in 830 deaths, thousands of serious injuries and $386 million in direct property damage, according to the National Fire Protection Association.

So, if we can educate smokers there is a better way, it will be good for all of us who care about the environment!
Alternative for smokers! E-cig has no 2nd hand smoke, smell or cancer causing agents! http://www.smokecancerfree4life.com
