What's Grabbing Your Prospect's Attention?

Postby Wayne Brooks on Sun May 25, 2008 5:01 am

Hi everyone,
Wayne aka Coach Cashflow here with a bit of cool technical wizardry to share.

I received an e-mail today that shared how a web page designer
for one of the more successful marketers online uses a web
site to do a quick attention getting analysis on the pages he
creates. The site uses artificial intellgence to simulate human
visual attention patterns and produces what's called a heatmap.
From what I read, everything's based on neuro-science and
psychology research on visual attention, perception, and
human cognition.

I took a screenshot of my capture page to see what my visitors
focus on when they arrive and the results are pretty neat!

The site is called Feng Gui. Here's the link...

It doesn't cost anything to do a quickie heatmap for your own
site. It's way cool and may just give you a few ideas on what
you might want to consider tweaking on your squeeze page(s).

This is the kind of stuff that makes the Internet pretty cool.
Check it out and discover what's grabbing your prospect's attention
when they arrive at your site.

Your thoughts? B)

looks like a cool tool... i'm going to test it... probably a great tool to see what text needs to be highlighted to grab attention so that the viewer skims what you want them to

You know,

That's a pretty interesting tool, I'm usally
a fan of old school split testing copy for
results but I'll give this one a whirl.

Thanks for sharing.
