I have read magnetic sponsoring and mlm traffic formula and both are awesome without a doubt! I was re reading them to tighten up my sales funnel and a question popped into my head.

"What are the first steps that other "Leaders" took AFTER reading Magnetic Sponsoring and/or Mlm Traffic Formula "BEFORE" they ever made a dime in their own business or created their first lead?"

You see i believe what stops people in their tracks after reading ms and mlmtf is one simple question that can be difficult to answer when you are brand spankin new! "What valuable content am i going to provide? I understand all the marketing training BUT have not created any results for myself yet so how can i teach others?" and if i do teach others what i just learned 2 days ago, am i a fraud?

Another thought I had and I am positive others have as well is " I see all these capture pages that say "I made $$$$$$ in 2 days I can show you OR I created 100000 leads in a day i can show you or some other variation of results but im new so what can be my big headline be? what benefits will i provide for opting into my site or what benefits will i provide my team.

I am hoping that the leaders will jump in here and share what the first steps were that they actually took BEFORE they had a testimonial or proof or sold anything. How did you leverage systems, what was some of your adcopy, what did you put on your first capture page you created.

This thread will help alot of people so im really looking forward to the response.

Very smart question Najja! Wonder why nobody asked that before... or I may have missed it.

I had the good fortune of being on the MLSP system which made it really effective for me to...

A) Apply MS principles practically
B) Provide value using the vast resource bank and training webinars available
C) Share my issues (on capture-page video) about old-school MLM... which others could relate to
D) Customize my pages to point out my specific MLM issues that are also real for others

Soon enough the MLSP lead generation system kicked in and I started making a profit with every lead. Guess it's time to do a mystory video now

Hey Sandeep thanks for the reply also i just looked at your capture page! I know that is one from the lead system pro but the way you customized it just by exposing the pain of what your targeted prospect is going thru is brilliant and you didn't say "I made a gazillion dollars" or thousands of leads daily.

Incidentally, my capture page video now is quite different from the pathetic one with which I started. Yes, the non-video one does express the pain... and that's customization one can get imaginative with Ryan.

Hi Najja. My first steps were to begin to brand myself. The way I chose to do it was by Blogging and Article Marketing. It gives you the exposure you need. Branding is not always about your own success. It can be about your offer. Your product or service, how it can help the prospect. Once you know all there is to know about your product/service, you can market to people and brand yourself as someone that can provide the help they need. I'm new here.

When you talk about starting a blog to brand yourself, what kind of content do you have on the blog? Do you have it only on internet/network marketing, or is it focussed on your product and opportunity with some network marketing info? I'm unclear how to position myself as a leader in my company.

Also, my company says that distributors can't advertise other products on their websites. I can understand not having other products on my e-commerce site of my company's products, but it seems ridiculous to not be able to have affiliate links (to MS, etc.). This may be a bit off-topic, but do you also place these links on your blog, or do you have the same restrictions with your companies?

Thanks for the help! Great thread! We all have a limited amount of time and need a little direction to know where to best put our energy.

I think my first step was actually to thank Mike.

After that I fluttered my eyelashes at some of the MS community bigshots (before they became BN bigshots lol) and got them to spill their guts on what the real secret of Magnetic Sponsoring was for them.

That's what I used to build my list. You can see one of my earlier capture pages and my fragile attempts at copywriting here.

But it all works. There's no BS in MS and so you don't need to BS folks into joining you or signin up to your list if you're applying it correctly. It just works. Of course, it only works if you actually use it. Like everything else if you don't take any action, you won't see any results.

Interestingly, I think I read it and put it on the shelf then came back to it months later and starting finding people implementing it and that's when the s and $$$s really rushed in.
