Why MLMers fail

Postby Chris Brown on Tue Aug 16, 2011 9:27 pm

People say that MLM has a high failure rate. I do not agree with that I don’t believe people fail I believe people stop building the business.

Zig Zigler says by choice he was over weight and then say why do I say by choice because I have never ate anything but by choice. Building a business is a choice and not building a business is also by choice.

Chris. Zig Ziglar is right. It's a choice to learn how to run an effective business with a healthy profit margin. Some don't make the connection that network marketing is a business and they choose to not include business training in their learning curve. Some do.

To add to that Chris, when we make excuses we are also making a choice for that too. For everyone who didn't have a supportive upline, you can find one who still succeeded despite that. For everyone who claims it was the company or product, you can find someone who did succeed with that same company and product. For everyone who says they don't have time, you can find another who did it despite not having much time. It truly is a choice, a determination and a will to push through any obstacle!

Hope that brings clarity!

Hi Chris

I agree 100% with you and every one.

one thing that I want to add is that i see a problem when people join every MLM
out there the problem is were are your focus? :? that is the only time when I say
people fail to keep focus, a good thing what you can do if you want to have more than one
MLM is to put a tool in you MLM tool box that you and your team can use with out splitting your
focus from your primary MLM.

Best regards

Salient points all.

People do not join to fail or quit. They have the intent of being successful.

What 97% of the people have not realized is that they cannot sell and cannot recruit.

But sales and recruitment are two main ingredients of success, because no money is made until something is sold.

To be successful, you must learn to sell and recruit, or how to get sales without recruiting and selling.

With those two choices, learning to sell and recruit is easier.
If what you have is so great, why are you asking people to sign up for it? Shouldn't THEY be asking YOU? Sign up for this Free MLM Boot Camp. Click HERE.

The Reason

Postby Vincent Muir on Mon Aug 22, 2011 9:32 am

Everyone here is right and I and here's what I've witnessed and researched...MOST people in MLM are in it initially for the MONEY (Surprise, surprise) whereas they need to shift their mindset to that of service and helping others get what they want as their primary business model. The money is merely a byproduct and a good one at that and in addition, the people who quit or fail don't understand the necessity to GROW as human beings...in other words, becoming a life-long student. Acquiring knowledge, implementing it and growing as a human being (As well as growing your bank account) is an empowering life-long experience and it's that experience that truly takes you where you want to go in life and beyond...

MLM is a sneaky plot to make people into life-time customers.

they really couldn't care less if you make money or not, as long as they are selling their terribly niched products.

that's the problem with MLM it caters to a niche, one which most of their distributors are not really in.

like i seriously never ever ever would have bought a 350$/month nutritional supplement until i joined a MLM. in fact, i never used a supplement in my life besides Vitamin C from time to time. i don't care how good the supplement is i'm not in the target market of a high-end supplement company.

same with Gold and Silver COLLECTIBLE coins.

Same with those cancer-curing juices.

same with the video calling plans.

You're a customer buddy. that's all. if you make a buck it's because you went against all odds and convinced a bunch of people not in the target market to become part of the target market.

First off... everyone single one of you are correct on the level of products / company levels. However, the real reason people fail in this business is because the simply don't have enough people to talk too.

Not enough people to talk to = no business. Pain and simple.

And the end of the day, the number of people you talk to will directly reflect your business strength and growth.

Suggestion: Start learning how to market both online and offline to generate leads of people who want or who may want your product.

Something to consider...

People fail in MLM business because they quit.
Quitters never win. Winners never quit.

1.) You're not identifying the (primary) reason behind it

A.) They run out of people to talk to. This causes them to think that "they've talked to everyone and it doesn't work".

People quit after the lack of results that they see in the efforts they put forth.

Yes in the end, they fail because they quit, but simply saying that is a cop-out. Real leaders know this and provide solutions (that work or not).

2.) Another thing networkers lack is commitment. To decide that this is how they are going to make their fortune. Instead, they listen to those who do no better or can do no better, and settle in their mediocrity.

So...

In summary, yes... winners never quit on themselves or their dreams.

ADVICE: Take everyone who tells you can't have what you want out of your life as an enemy against your dreams (dream stealers). Not one to take arms up against, but one to move asid and decide their own fate.

Failing people is a true sign of leadership. Don't be afraid to let them go!
