I read this guys Blog who I don't think is a member of BN, but I really like his stuff and just happen to agree with him on many points.
I think there will be a lot of dissappointed people again with this new Web Prosperity thing. And this guys Blog post sums it up pretty well.

Love to hear if you agree or not...
I have been online since 1995 and marketed since 2002. This is not the first of these things I have seen and probably wont be the last.

Actually Forest IS a member of BN and posted on the other thread "Anyone checked out Web Prosperity?", p. 11, near the bottom.
Saw his excellent critique late last night shortly after he posted it, and I too agree with his review, just didn't express my agreement on that thread.
I learned about the "powerline" model a few years ago and absolutely HATED receiving all those emails and the 'fear of loss' methodology that is used. Will NEVER join another, don't care what the product/service is!

I also wrote about "avoiding" web prosperity on my blog.

20+ comments. A few mad at me for calling web prosperity a powerline but most seem to be in agreement to at least wait and see what happens.

Wow. The WEB Prosperity did cause quite a stir for a week or so. But, out of the 50-60,000 people that signed up for it in "The Free Prelaunch" who is actually going to use the product, the built in autoresponder, and the conference line are the things i heard the most about (never had a desire to really look at it) Everyone should already have an autoresponder to start with, and out of those people who have signed up, most don't even have a team large enough to use 3-way calling.
It is great that the creator aroused so much interest, but i don't think there will be any stability in the company, or the product power.
Just my short little uneducated opinion.

They never do create stability, I have seen stacks of these over the past 6 to 7 years online. Not one of them produce any longevity.
I was in one of the worlds fastest growing online MLM opporunities in 2002, I got in early, just after prelaunch, within 6 months it was dead and no one had anything left after it.
Look for the companies that can produce longevity with legitmiate products and compensation plans, and build it up by applying the magnetic sponsoring principles you learn here. And quit looking for the short cuts.
Remember - It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll.

Personally..
..like a police officer that's been in the force a long time have a nose to do his
duty..
I sincerely hope that it works for those people that have a lot of faith that it will
work my nose says no..
Forget about the spill over especially with just a few 100 thousands because they gotta
be a million or more just to get pass a few levels..
As far as pre launch..there is no such thing..it's either launch or it's not..just getting a
sniff, an email or whatever about it keeps it from being a pre launch..
For a plan on spill over it gotta be an extra signed up..here is what I am saying..
To be a 4x5 matrix the requirement should be needing 5 recruits period taata...
only then spill overs could work a lot better and more efficient..

Hi Rey,
Agreed! Terms like pre-launch, forced matrix, spillover and others are generally used in conjunction with hype. I am involved in a very successful company, 12 years old now, business is growing exponentially with no signs of slowdown... and most of these opportunity seekers wouldn't even look at it, because they are after the instant hit, not the slow and steady results.
It's not how sound businesses are built.

Re: Why You Should NOT Join Web Prosperity | Review
Hello everyone,
I posted in the previous post on wp and actually had signed up with one of the founders on another site, but since that time have had no response what so ever and no spill over. Let us just say you live and learn and I was checking it out for the advertising that is suppose to be good for your primary business but they seem to want you to build their business and I don't have time for that I have a solid backing of team members but I do not infringe on them when I join anything else unless it is solid and proven. I start from scratch and I don"t want to do that anymore as we are solid in our business now, Thank God I am a fast learner and it will never happen again, if it sounds to good to be true it is.

Re: Why You Should NOT Join Web Prosperity | Review
Aside from the compensation plan, which the company refuses to give a clear and full explanation of (red flag #1), and which I asked about here, my main concern is about the product suite itself.
When I first heard about the company, I was led to believe the package consists of the types of products we have been buying separately, but are now available bundled together for a monthly fee that rivals what just one of these services sells for on its own. I thought it might be a great product to recommend to people who are new to the business, so they could work with one set of tools that I would know would all work together, without compatibility issues. That is why I enrolled.
However, what I am starting to worry about is that these products are actually intended to be used to promote...these products! I can't say for sure, but my feeling is these products won't be usable on your own independently produced website. If that's the case, this is ALL about the opportunity, and the product is actually tied to the opportunity. That won't bode well for the company's longevity.
So, I am watching this one carefully. I am not promoting it any further than I already have, and am getting more concerned with each passing day, even though my downline is growing quickly (what good is a downline of several hundred if only 2% convert - especially if that same conversion rate applies to my personal referrals?).

Thanks Greg for starting this thread. I have been receiving invitations from good people I know and I also wanted to know the opinions of our leaders here BN.
