I am getting this:
Install WordPress (2/3)
The installation can not be completed:
- You chose to install in the main directory of the domain danielattard.com, but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed. Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain danielattard.com (path="/home/danielat/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
wp-admin
wp-content
wp-includes
Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.
Can anyone advice what I have to do to fix things up please?

Hey Daniel,
Have you ever installed WordPress for this domain? Is this an add-on domain? Who is your hosting provider, hostgator? You can go into the file manager and delete the files, but make sure you know what's in these files before you do. If you already have an existing WordPress site and this is an add-on, you could delete an existing site. You can also choose to install WordPress to a different directory so there won't be any conflicts.

Yes I had Wordpress and I uninstalled it. Then I tried installing again and it gave me that message. I cannot delete any files. Its a Maltese hosting company.

Well, this is why you already have these folders created. You should be able to go into and edit your files via a file manager in your hosting dashboard. I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to. If for some reason your hosting provider doesn't have this option, you can download filezilla or something similar for free. You'll then be able to go into your directory files, delete the files in question and start the WordPress installation over again with no problems.

access your site through FTP and just erase all the files associated with the website. That should solve it. Even though you auto-uninstalled it, sometimes widgets and add ons still remain.

.
If you used Fantastico makes sure you don't have remnant files left on the server from previous installs.
That will mess things up. You can check by going to Fantastico and Wordpress. See if it is showing an existing install.
Login to Cpanel if you have it and go to the File Manager.
Clean up the domain and any old Wordpress files.
Or use FTP as Melvin suggested - its essentially the same thing.
