A Couple Questions About TF2-HELP!

Postby Jackie Hall on Tue Aug 11, 2009 1:28 pm

Hello!

1. Autoresponders - It said in the video that autoresponder info. would be in the resourses section. I do not see it there (I may need new glasses) :)
I was thinking about using Dirt Cheap Autoresponder (for the price), as long as it does what the others do. But, it seems I'd need to be a computer wiz to use it. Am I wrong? Or, I thought about TrafficWave. It's looked easy to use, not too expensive and I could use it for other caputure pages and such. And, it's a bit cheaper than Aweber.
Any suggestions?? I know in a video a recommendation for Aweber was made. Is it really superior? I need to keep my costs down (way down).

2. I set up my blog, put in the name & it comes up, but when I click on... for example comments, it says the link is broken. Any ideas why? And, what I need to do? I don't want to get my autoresponder and upload my opt in box if it doesn't work correctly.

Thanks in advance for your help!

To answer your first question, I would go with either Aweber or Getresponse. There is a reason people don't use the cheapest autoreponder they can find. From features to support to successful delivery rate there are many reason to use a better (but possibly more expensive) company. In reality these two services are quite cheap though.

May need more detail to comment on the second issue, if you like ad me and send me a PM with your web address in it.

I have A-Weber and love it. For what it does for us, it's quite a bargain. Your autoresponder is so important to the success of your business, that it's not an area where you want to cut corners on. You want to feel confident that these things are being very well taken care of for you.

Thanks a lot for your input!!

I called GoDaddy and the link problem is fixed. And, the autoresponder information is now posted in the resourses section of TF2.

I'll have my nerve center posted soon :)

Just a note about autoresponders. I really really recommend never to think twice about paying for a good autoresponder. Don't go for free or cheap. Even Aweber is only $19 a month for the beginner package.

Email marketing is a huge component of your business and you don't want to mess around with deliverability issues at all. Aweber, Get response, Icontact are all great.
