There is some great advice here already but here is my 2 cents.

Do a search for "network marketing ezines" or whatever niche your working in
then once you find a few of them subscribe to the ezines with your "junk"
email address.

Also send the following letter to the editor to see if they will respond. (You might find
some of the answers on there website so edit as needed.)

I am interested in advertising in your ezine, but before I do, I have a few questions I hope you don’t mind answering for me.

1. How many solo ads do you send out per week?
2. How many new subscribers do you average per month?
3. Are there any testimonials from advertisers you could send me?
4. Do you personalize the ads and are you able to put them in HTML
5. Can you review my opportunity and provide a small endorsement in my ad?

I thank you in advance for taking the time to answer these questions for me. I look forward to doing business with you.

Now that you know how to acquire the information here is what you are looking for.

1. An ezine that sends out valuable useful content on a regular basis
2. They dont bombard you with too many ads weekly like topsurfer
3. You are able to customize the subject line
4. Hopefully they don't put a disclaimer at the beginning of your solo ad about it being
a commercial ad
5. If you could get them to endorse your ad that would be great but most will not
6. Can you include the subscribers names in your ad

Top Surfer is a great site for advertising! There are a lot of great sites like that if you are persistant! List Joe, List Bandit Adtactics, target Pro, freesafelist just to name a few if you do them on a regular basis you will get a decent amount of sign ups!

The key to using sites that send out alot of solo ads is to tie in your offer with the people on the list.

People that use Traffic Exchanges or list builders etc... are interested in 1 thing... and that is Traffic
for their business. So if you use those methods then you will want to offer either Tools or Traffic Education.

Most of those people are not currently looking for another business opportunity "Right Now" but they will
be in the future so you will want to build your list and create a relationship.

Thanks for the great tips on offering advice for tools and traffic education. I have found you do need to develop a relationship before you get sign ups, however I have got sign ups as well.

It's difficult to track results. The same URL gets run in all the ezines, so you don't know if five of the ezines are performing well, or just one. You can't optimize by keeping the winners and dropping the losers. All you know is the overall results, which puts you in a "take it or leave it" position.

Hi Jeff,

A simple way to solve this issue: contact the ad co-op owner before placing the order. Tell her/him that you want to track the results and that's why you would like your ad to have a different link for each ezine.

If the answer is "No way", then don't place the order. If the answer is "No problem", then you solved the issue

Hey folks, please don't forget that it aslo has to do with the ad copy and subjectline.
Be creative, keep it fresh... Limit exagerations and build a relationship.
Sometimes the problem is not the gun but the shooter! You can still find good
solo ad resources out there!!!
