I was wondering, Mike mentioned on the CD's in the MLMTF course that he has made Camtasia videos of creating a capture page... yet I haven't found one. I have a video for adwords (that I still need to watch).. and there's another cd with a video on it (SEO?). Anyways, just wondering if the videos were available online at some point?

Hey. I can't give you alot of advice but just wanted to say that you and I are in the exact same boat. I have bought every one of Mike's products and am trying to digest all that I just learned in MLMTF, which I thought was incredible. I have a big plan and a million ideas but can't seem to get my infrastructure built and money coming in because I can't find alot of the products and links mentioned on the tapes that I planned to use (like Gateway Magic and the swipe file book for instance). I am not sure if they are no longer available or if they just aren't posted. I reserved and forwarded a gazillion domain names for all my target markets but can't figure out what to do about hosting, autoresponder, etc. so I'm stuck.

I plan to listen to PPC Domination next but just realized that they never sent the physical product to me! Yikes. I paid dearly for that. Will be following up with customer service but I think they may be having some issues that they are working through. Will be happy to benchmark with you anytime even though it may be the blind leading the blind. Good luck to you. Ann

Hi Ann:
Just a note about PPCDomination...I have it also and it believe it is only a PDF product...there is no physical product to be mailed out like some of Mike's other programs.
I do not recall receiving anything in the mail...I had instant access on the Web for the program. I access it in my backoffice with Magnetic Sponsoring.

It would be nice to add a video on your capture page because it seems realistic, plus it gives more credibility and more understandable on your business by branding yourself.

The more you can personalize your capture page the better especially if you plan on doing any pay per click advertising. Google is cracking down on affiliate pages. I agree that a personal video is a great idea. Also as much of your own content as you can put there. If you are not doing pay per click it is not as crucial but still you want your prospects to feel that you have a unique page that doesn't look like everyone elses.

Hey Ann. I have a bunch of videos on my profile that will walk you through hosting and setting up your own web pages. As for auto-responder, I would use Aweber. But I have heard iContact is also very good. You may also PM me if you get stuck.

Fear not, it is a "digital" product. Just go to your MS back-office and click the products tab. It's there in the left column under "Products I Own".

You can find TONS of videos on YouTube of how to create a rockin' capture page. However, if you need a little more assistance than the typical YouTube faire, you will need to get in touch with someone who has experience in this field whom you can work with directly.

Thanks for the help, folks. I get the biggest idiot award for not realizing I had the whole PPC Domination course sitting in my back office the whole time. I guess the photos of the CD's on the sales page threw me off. Thanks also for the helpful advice on the capture page/autoresponder issue, Josh. I will check your links and see if I can get this figured out. It seems that even Craig Allen is suggesting that we send prospects to our capture page before the affiliate replicated pages so I am off to start creating capture pages now. I feel much better knowing you guys are out here to bug with all my questions! Hope I don't wear out my welcome. Ann

Off to create capture pages....

The sound of that kind of makes me sick. The normal person doesn't have the skills and resources or even time needed to put it all together and then split test it all. Maybe, just maybe if there was a marketing team putting it together but as mentioned before if this is the first dive into a pull there really is no need to digging into details of the industry. Those will come in time.

It's like scuba diving. There are a lot of things you can learn about to make the dive better. Better equipment, locations, and things to swim with but in the end if most of your time is looking at reviews to how to pick a better mask or how a certain fish reproduces in winter then your missing the point....

Get the basics down, understand the rules of the game, then just jump in and learn while you swim. Unlike scuba, you won't kill yourself unless your messing with PPC from day one with a poor capture page and follow with autoresponder.

You have heard it from your primary company.

"Take Massive Action"

Have a System Generating you money WHILE you tweak and deploy a ONE of a kind marketing system. Until then, get with a customizable branded system that allows you to earn some coin while you read all of the material.

For me, it took at least 2 reads of Magnetic Sponsoring, 2 listens of BlackBelt Recruiting, and 2 MLM Traffic Formula run throughs (3-4 just on audio) to digest the entire process.

I could be spending hours each day fudging with my capture page, writing letter on my autoresponder, tweaking my split testing, trying to figure out how to advertise to every MLM company with ONE article and capture page, understanding domain hosting and it's effects, copy writing, SEO, blogging, and many others.

I just took step back and took an analysis of what I "enjoyed" doing which was taught in MLM Traffic Formula, and figured out what every step would cost in Dollars and Time.

So long answer short: USE VIDEOS and Split test against everything in your arsenal
