Network Marketing is teaching and mentoring others

Look at the actually words of Network Marketing. Network - talking to other people. Marketing - usually involves a product or service. I don't see where anyone would come to the conclusion that network marketing is about teaching and mentoring others.

Teaching and mentoring is definitely a part of the service that comes with successful network marketing but "Network Marketing" is not about teaching or mentoring.

If you are new to network marketing, I am very sorry you are being taught a very erroneous mindset.

Tough I completely agree with your point and have seen it work greatly for myself, I also wanted to add that you have to be careful "who" you serve as well because there are plenty of people out there that will gladly burn you out "serving them". You want to sponsor people who will take your help and run with it.

Totally agree with you Bill. I, of course had practiced helping others but it wasn't until the last 6 months that I realize just how much the "heavy hitters" help those that take the steps to help themselves. That is amazing!

In corporate marketing we compete with each other.
In network marketing we complete each other. That's the difference.

I Love this post!!! I come from a corporate background like most of us and that is really what it is. Corporate America requires you to get the edge on another, to out-perform antoher. That is very stressful, demoralizing, and hard work.
Network Marketing on the other hand, total oposite. You want to improve people. It's no more a matter of how i can out-perform the next person, its a matter of trying to get that person to out-peform you, who will then help another person out-perform them, so on and so forth. This is why I Love this industry! It's about helping others.

I think the title says it all.

Whether it be a Marketing business or any other business, people will help build your business.

When you give without want, you receive so much more in return...

People build Relationships
Relationships build trust
Trust attracts people to your business

After all...there wouldn't be a single business on the planet today, without people.

There is a quote i have lived by since i have heard it. "Help enough people get what they want and you will have everything that you want".

Great quote by Zig Zigler, I use this often too.... Sometimes when we help people, we get it back through other means, and it is also important to give freely and help someone out, its not about what you can get out of it... it's about what the other person gets out of this.
