Hello-

My husband Nate and I are very happy to find this community. It's good to be with like minded people.

We originally started off with Magnetic Sponsoring, Building on a Budget, Blackbelt Recruiting, and MLM Traffic Formula, and quickly realized we needed to start with our own site before we started using much of it. When Site Build It was recommended on MLM Traffic, we veered off on that, and got busy.

We now have a 65 page site built, and are reviewing MLM Traffic, but have questions about integrating the two. Nobody at the forums on Site Build It seemed to know about MLM Traffic Formula. So we would love to network with someone who has done both, or is doing both.

We finally decided on an auto-responder, Icontact, and are getting started on that, but have some questions about integrating MLM Traffic with Site Build It! Any thoughts out there?

OK, Great. We are on the same page. Here is what we are working on right now:

We finished the Action Guide, and have a 65 page site up. SBI's autoresponders were limited in their capability, and so we decided on icontact for an auto-responder. Right now we would like to start off with order pages on our site, and we would like to start pay per click, but are having trouble knowing how to sell hard goods - we don't want to buy and re-sell, and we don't want to send them to our company's replicated order page. What is the best way- capture their phone, call them, have them give us their credit card, place the order, or is there a better, more automated way to go where you don't have to physically handle each order?

I am sure there is something I am missing here, but if you are willing to help, please point me and I will fill in the blanks. Company (MLM ) name is Immunotec Research, Ltd. They, like all the others, are still teaching traditional marketing and recruiting methods. So this site and Dillard is our way to go forward.

OK...
Well for automation the ideal scenario would be if your company has an API available with their shopping cart system. The easy way to ask is if they provide members with integration codes to plug in to your own website or flat out, DO They Have an API For the Shopping Cart?

The next thing you can do is get an SSL Certificate and create a secure order form for new customers, then call in, email or fax those orders to the company, whichever they allow. Email would be ideal since you would be able to create a carbon copy process in your order form mail preferences to have a copy go to you and one to the company order department.

Then of course you can provide the option of you calling them to help place the order over the phone.

As for SBI itself, I found far too many limitations for the amount of complex processes required to get things done, so I no longer use their system. So I would recommend contacting their support team for additional help with the actual integration into their system or possibly your company tech team itself.

Thank you, Richard, that is all very helpful.

We now have some specific questions to ask our company. There is some lack of clarity between what is stated in the business guide for our company and what is actually being enforced, so this is where the confusion comes in. I don't think officially we can sell our products outside of our replicated site, but for those that do, the company is not stopping them. But given that scenario, we really don't want to ask them for a code to sell separately. But we may have to.

The checkout process has way too many buttons to select from, and customer gets lost or gives up. Replicated site is best for me to enter orders into the system for direct shipping from the company.

Tricky business. Thanks for your help and no doubt we will have opportunity to speak again. We are learning something new all the time. Thanks again for all of your help, it is much appreciated.
