Help. I have been studying Magnetic Sponsoring, Black Belt Recruiting as well as MLM Traffic Formula 2.0, but I fail to see a connection between generating leads and sponsoring them. I know MLM Traffic Formula 2.0 is yet to cover that in a later module, but I was under the impression that I should have learned that by now through Magnetic and Black Belt courses.

For example, let's say I generated 50 leads a day. Those are folks interested in learning how to generate leads themselves, or learning how to sponsor the ones they generate because they're in an MLM company of their own, right?

Otherwise they wouldn't have opted in to begin with.

So if they're already with an MLM company, whom and how do I sponsor?

Your confusion is understandable. Many of us had the same questions after we looked at this. It's hard to shrug off the old ways of doing things where you pitch and sell your way through the ranks. This is about attraction.

You need a system to funnel them into your business though.

How are you getting your leads? Where are you sending them to? Do you have autoresponders to continue to connect with these leads? What are you giving them on the front end for free?

If you attract 50 leads a day and give them the help they need (you need to understand the wants of your target audience) and show them you are a leader who knows what to do... they will join you. They will ask if you can sponsor them. They will call you and ask to find out your secrets.

You won't sign all of these people. Most likely not even 10% of them but you can still make money by using affiliate offers and funded proposals on items your leads need. If you build a relationship with them and then for example, recommend a great mlm training class and they buy it through your affiliate link you would still get paid. Even if they don't join your business.

PLUS... you never know what might happen to this person in the future. They could end up knocking on your door with their entire downline ready to join whatever you recommend because you have shown real leadership.

Basically, build the sales funnel and they will come!

See, but that's just the thing I don't understand. In Black Belt, Mark Wieser said that he would routinely call up to 100 leads a day to qualify them. To me, that means 100 leads that requested business information - you can't just call to qualify any lead, right?

I guess I'd like to know how to produce THOSE kinds of leads.

Because, when you think about it, the leads produced using MS lead generation system aren't those kinds of leads at all.

I got MLM Traffic Formula 2 because I was hoping to learn how to produce those kinds of leads exactly.

But since we haven't gotten that far with it, I have no idea if that's what the course teaches as of yet.

Does it? (to all of you that have gone through the very first MLM traffic formula)

I think I understand your confusion with this

The MS system is meant to teach you the principles of attraction marketing and serve as "training wheels" for you while you create your own system..."YOU Inc." It is in place to provide you with some cash flow through your affiliate sales while you create your own website and begin to build your own list.

The whole concept behind attraction marketing is being able to brand yourself as a leader in this industry and create "YOU Inc." You educate yourself which makes you more valuable and then share that information with others. People will be attracted to you because you are sharing with them the information they are seeking and by continually providing value to them (through emails, blog posts, etc.) they will see you as a leader and will want to join "YOU".

For those that are not interested in your opportunity, that's ok. They are still on your email list because you are constantly providing value to them and when you market different affiliate offers to your list, they become customers and that's how you make money off of the people who don't join your opportunity.

Remember two principles:

1) People join "you" not your opportunity.
2) People buy from those they know and trust.

So let's take an example. Let's say you decide that you want to focus on social media as your niche. You could have a blog that is all about how you can help other internet marketers learn how to monetize social media. You would need an "opt-in" form because the purpose of the blog would be to gather email addresses of other marketers interested in what you have to teach them. You would have to give something away though...they aren't going to give you their email address for nothing in return.

You could create your own pdf or video series teaching them how to successfully market their business using social media. They would have to opt in to get whatever it is you are giving away. It needs to be something of value. Remember, underpromise...overdeliver... always...

Ok, so now they are on YOUR email list and you will continue to provide them value over time and create a relationship with those people on your list. And remember, who did you target? OTHER internet marketers. People change companies all the time and maybe not right away, but somewhere down the road some of those people on your list will be looking for a new opportunity.

Where do you think they are going to look? I'm sure you will be one of the people they look to because you have shown that you are a leader and have been consistently providing them real value.

Those that don't...you send out affiliate offers (ones that will provide value still ) and monetize your list that way. Eventually, you could create your own products to market to your list, but we'll save that for another day

You've had some great post from people wanting to help you grow your business, so I thought I'd share my two cents...

You must build a MARKETING FUNNEL or FUNNELS. This will build your own LISTS of prospects, customers, and partners who you can market to for the rest of time. You will only succeed if you know and understand the TOOLS needed for success. Basic outline list of the necessary tools

1. A Product: Affiliate marketing product - Go to Clickbank.com for good products
2.Capture page: The opportunity to receive a valuable resource for FREE by "Opting-in"
3. Sales Page: The opportunity to increase their value in what you've offered in your Capture page
4. Autoresponder: Your opportunity to keep in touch and follow-up with your prospects.
5. Social Media: Areas to Market your Valuable ideas ( Facebook, Twitter, youtube, etc. )

There are many other areas to market like News Groups, etc. but just wanted to give you the idea.
