Geoff,

I was seriously asking a question of those experienced internet network marketers.

I'm a newbie to internet marketing and was curious about Traffic formula 2.

I recently bought the course so I'm finding out for myself the real value it has.

Didn't mean to offend with my question.

Sorry for my ignorance on not following the rules (as I'm new to the BN community).

Won't happen again.

Sincerely,

Paul

Jackie and others,

I bought TF2 last week and have been furiously going through the training.

It's all GREAT information.

The market research part was especially enlightening.

I have a question for you guys.

Tim Erway talked about going after customers for your primary biz opp as examples in TF2 market research.

Do you think that the MLM home based business internet niche is saturated?

I hear all the time that in order to get traffic, you've got to be in the first few spots of Google.

Is it going to be extremely difficult to get there for network marketing search terms?

I'm looking forward to the next module.

What's even more exciting to me is the fact that there seems to be a great group of people here that are learning, applying and sharing here in this forum.

I'm new to the community but it sure seems like a great place for growth.

Hi Paul,

I happen to be listening to the course right now...trying to find more about submitting my RSS & social bookmarking. I'm totally new at computers and network marketing, but have learned ALOT in a short time from the course and from BN. But honestly, if it wasn't for the content here, I'd be totally lost! We're told to do it, but not HOW. I suppose it will make us learn it....learn by doing.

One good thing is that once we learn it, we can help someone else do it :) Now there's a -how to- video or e-book idea :)

I see a lot of information on the web about network marketing. In the course it talkes about choosing your niche. Maybe choose a specific subject in network marketing like social networking, video marketing, specific ways of collecting leads or specialize on how to use copywriting for killer autoresponder and e-mail campaigns. Choose one specific target market and become a master in it. Then, try another subject. I've been hearing about this new Google Wave...it's new...learn it, master it and become an authority in it and you'll have an edge on many, many people.

This is a great place for learning because we have MASTERS here! We are blessed to learn from the best, of the best, of the best, of the best...

That's what I suggest. I hope I was able to help some....anyone else have an input for paul?

@Paul Hutchings

Hey Paul,
First of all welcome to the neighborhood.
As you've already seen this place is an absolute mega library of information for people wanting to learn how to successfully create a home business as well as for those who want to take it to the next level.

Secondly, kudos on your purchase of TF2.
Investing in yourself and expanding your knowledge base is championed only by application of that knowledge.
So keep studying and learn all you can on the topics you decide are important for your business goals; but above all put it to use. That is the true lab. The ultimate landscape where you will discover the answers to all your questions ... DOING will reveal what it is you are seeking to learn.

There are many "technical" aspects to running your business and marketing that business, etc., etc. But honestly there really isn't anything new under the sun, so when you get stuck just ask for help here in the forums. Most likely someone will have an answer or point you in the right direction. My personal flavor is to give people just enough to help them find the answer themselves.

In this case I don't see your comments being that of a technical nature, but more of a mindset issue.

Is XYZ market saturated?
On the surface it is very easy to say yes. Yes there are thousands, hundreds of thousands of people fishing in the same pond looking for the same fish. How many fish are there? Who knows really. But I do know that thousands of people join an mlm everyday ... somewhere with someone.

The point is this:
Somewhere there are people that are going to be attracted to YOU and what you have to offer. And your circle of influence is just that - Yours. And because of that you have a unique opportunity - No one else can be you.

Everyday "the right time" is "right now" for someone.
So the real question is ...
"Will you be there when that switch clicks for them?"

There's an old saying in this industry:
"You can't say the wrong thing to the right person AND you can't say the right thing to the wrong person."

Now ask yourself your original question again:
"Is the market saturated?"
.
.
.
YOUR answer is correct.

I think it is a great course.

I also signed up for Renegade Pro just to get a feel for the similarities/differences. I have to say that I feel I am getting my money's worth from TF2 but Renegade Pro just takes it to a much deeper level. Mike Klinger (and others) goes step by step through many of the pieces. Now I understand that it really is apples and oranges but I am responding to Jackie's/Shane's point about the level of detail.

I haven't had the chance to listen to Brian's video marketing piece but if MLSP is any indication, it will be great. That is a nice tool.

What makes TF2 so good, is the range of teachers in each module. With so much experience and knowledge, Mike D has formed a product, that fills a huge need. It's worth the money.
I also believe all these answers can be found online, but if you add up the time to take to look and find everything, would it still add up?

Jackie,

Glad to know that I'm not the only newbie to internet marketing. :)

You're absolutely right. The great thing is that we can help each other figure it all out.

I think you're probably right on picking a sub-niche or as you said "specialize in an area". That's what they recommended in TF2.

Great suggestion about Google wave. I actually got an invite last week. I think I have about 6 or so invites to give away. Anyone here interested in getting one?

You're right about masters being here.

That reminds me.

@Richard Bravo

Richard,

Thanks for the warm welcome. That really means a lot. Seriously! Thank you.

Thanks also for the tips. You are right... Application of the knowledge is where the rubber meets the road.

I'm great at learning but I need to become a master of execution. That is where the true power lies.

"Doing will reveal what it is you are seeking to learn" Wow.. what a great quote. Is that a Richard Bravo original?

After reading your post, I can tell that you are truly the Jedi Master that your capture page portrays you to be. :)

You reminded me of a quote by Henry Ford.

"Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."

Or something like that anyway.

Thanks again for taking the time to give some of your wisdom to me.

Looking forward to learning more. (I subscribed to the Jedi Marketing list)

Make it a great day!

Hey Paul,
Welcome to the BN family and to the TF2 group.

Like Richard said, investing in your education is priceless and you will always get your money's worth from a Mike Dillard product but only if you put it all into practice.
That is where it gets hard sometimes. Knowing what to do is easier than how to to do it.
If you need help with your Nerve Center let me know.
I've been working hard for the last few months at making them easy for others to get and use in just a few days.

Again, welcome and I look forward to getting to know you better!

Cheers
Erica
