Hi Timo
not sure why it's not showing up. I use iContact and that's all I did. Can u put up a link to your blog so we can take a look? I'm not a WP (or anthing else, lol) expert, but I'm sure there are lots of others here who'll be able to step in and help.

Re: Traffic Formula 2.0 - Configuring your Nerve Center.
Hi Timo:
I am with A-Weber and I have a Wordpress.org blog. You are correct in that you have to copy and paste the HTML code for the opt-in box into a text widget. You have to remember that you must save it after you have done that. I know it looks like it's there but if you don't do a final save it just vanishes. I am not sure if I am making myself clear, but give it another try making sure that you do a final save at the end of everything.
Good luck.

Timo,
I have WP & just signed up for icontrol and was able to post my box. And, I put in another e-mail address of mine and it worked
Jan,
Is your site the one you constructed with TF2? With the opt in box? Also, how did you get your ABN seal on your site? I tried but it wouldn't work for me. Nice site by the way
Anyone,
Is it just me, or is the icontrol box really ugly????? Mine is...no options and it didn't even post the colors I chose.
My blog is still under construction and isn't ready at all, but I'm going to give my site so maybe you all will give me some feedback. I think the box is really ugly. If anyone does look at my site, any feedback would be appreciated. Remember, it's all brand new. The name is http://www.NewTrendSpot.com

Hi Jackie:
I have sent you a private message. Watch out for it.
I forget to mention how to get the ABN badge on your site. You have to copy the HTML code (just click on the link under the ABN badge on your home page).
You then have to open a text widget in your Dashboard and paste the HTML code into the text box. Make sure you save it after you have done it.
Also, make sure that you put the badge in the right position on your website.
Mine was a little tricky because I technically have a four column page (it's not actually four columns, but each column represents a certain area of my page).
Also, the badge does not look the same as the picture of it on our homepage. It is quite wide. Some columns might be too narrow for it.
Let me know how you make out.

HI Tim,
Make sure you use the HTML code and not the Javascript.
That might be the issue.

Re: Traffic Formula 2.0 - Configuring your Nerve Center.
Hi Timo,
Our three initial thoughts without being able to see your WP Dashboard ourselves would be:
1. Making sure you are saving the text widget before leaving the page (you must click "save" not "close") which we saw this was mentioned above by Jan.
2. Maybe try re-copying your HTML code to make sure you aren't missing any pieces.
3. We looked at your site and the sidebar seems a little narrow. It's probably unlikely that this is causing the problem, but it might be worth testing the box on a different theme if the above 2 don't solve the problem.
You could also test your box on a site like http://practiceboard.com just to see if the HTML is functional.
Hope this helps! Good luck

Re: Traffic Formula 2.0 - Configuring your Nerve Center.
Hi Jackie
your opt in box from iContact can easily be changed so that it isn't as 'ugly'. You can see mine at my blog http://www.secretofmagneticsponsoring.com/
Simply edit the colours so that the background and borders match the colour of the background within your text box. Also, remove the link to iContact under the sign up form. This leaves you with just the name and email boxes which ok, isn't fancy, but at least blends in with your site.
If you want a fancy opt in box, you will have to use a background graphic. Loads of free ones to be had, just ask Google.

Ok. I have I contact and have tried to copy and paste to Wordpress and all that shows up is the actual code and a hyper link to Icontact. IContact made sure that you could get to their website.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
