Perhaps the "you inc" is easier than you are searching for.

to me, you've just labeled what you are an expert at.

you are an expert at being you. another guy, trying to get by through marketing an amazing product.

there is your 'in' with your market.

you're just another dude, who - like your customers has to work out. You've found your answer. Use your product, and show your results. Whether in blogs, pictures, or videos. Simultaneously improve your life, and make a killer master marketing strategy.

You don't have to be good at everything, or anything for that matter. You just need people to relate to you. To come to you, and your product because they feel that if it 'works for you, then it might work for me'. explain why you were skeptical, and what put your skepticism's to rest. Explain to them not the features of the product, but instead the benefits of using the product. =)

as for the mouseover popup, i purchased a java program.

sometimes it helps to click "View" on the top of your browser, then click "Page Source".

from there, you'll find lots of code.

in the meantime, if you're series about designing yourself.... go to the library, and pick up a book on CSS. It's probably one of the easiest codes to learn. and the best part about the library is, it's free!

look for 'popup' widgets with wordpress

oh, and you can still use dreamweaver. create your item in dw, then copy and paste the code into your blog posts / widgets. =)

Hey guys sorry I have not responded, been trying to catch up on some stuff and have not had time to come back on here. I have been reading the posts and I must say this is great. Someone asked about the graphics, (casey) I basically came up with the idea one evening and told my graphics guy (elance.com) what I wanted, it should not cost you that much to get this done. He gave me a few mockups and I chose the one I wanted and Fine tuned it.

I was going to ask about that as well, I see a few people on these posts already have them. Is there a way to get that done without paying for it. I am sure there is and I guess I have to find it.

yes my header is huge I liked it that way, I know the first few second is all you have to crab someones attention, I think I am going to see how it works out for me and probably close up some of that white space after a few months testing, as you can see there is really nothing on the blog.

For registering your site go to GoDaddy.com and be sure to do a search online for Godaddy Coupons, could save you a few bucks. I use hostgator to host my sites, there support is out of this world "one reason I moved my hosting from godaddy to them" they allow me to host a limitless amount of sites on one hosting account. So I register my site on Godaddy, add a subdomain over on Hostgator.com, change name servers and wham, you type in my domain and you cant even tell its a subdomain awesome. If you need any help with this stuff just let me know, have no problem helping you out.

I know that aweber is a great optin box that many people use, but for a newbie like me I went with icontact why? Cost baby cost? Its $9.95 a month for 500, I hope to crush that down the line but when money is tight, gota use what you think will do for you. Many people use this, I even think if I remember mike dillards emails come from icontact. If I am wrong I still like the price and it works for me.

Yep.. IContact is another good one, but Aweber is more functional to me. that's why i chose it.

Godaddy is the best support and service I've received in years of hosting.

a code for $7.99 domains on godaddy is 'diggnation' with the ' ' of course. =)

As for the popup. sure there's a way without money. take a PHP or javascript course at your local community college, research it on google, or like I previously said search out a widget for wordpress. i'm sure there's at LEAST one.

I think I may have seen the java program for sale somewhere. Thanks. I know how to create pop ups ...but not when they mouse over the browser. I will google that java program.

I am definately going to read up on CSS!

So, can the designer be able to adapt the design you have in mind, let's say you did one in photoshop - they can adapt it to wordpress?

By the way guys, if you have the names of the designers, be cool, cause at least you've used them and they deliver. Be great to know.

Maybe pm me if you have that kind of info. I'd like to ask them some questions for a friend. Maybe even myself in future.

As far as G.odaddy is concerned, fatwallet.com usually has some good codes to offer. There is always a deal of the day available if you call in but the deal can vary from day to day and may not qualify for the dollar amount that you are purchasing. pm me if you want more details....

I have a design group in india who I found on Elance.com. I told them what I wanted they gave me a mockup and then I gave them access to make the changes. They are good. I would advise you go onto elance.com or guru.com and post your project. I dont use anyone with a rating below 98%. Just me but seems to have works out so far.
