I just started blogging here shortly. I am curious to know as well.
Getting more leads is well to do, but getting a sale from those leads is better.
Getting a 1000 leads is good to have. It means nothing if it does not convert into a sale somewhere.

Re: What's a Good Conversion Rate for a Blog is not the answer?

Don't be shocked by my subject response... Quite frankly blogging is not and should not be about a conversion rate If pertaining to the sales of product or services. To be perfectly honest I want go at it in bogs for the sole purpose of sales and pitching my services. These platforms was intended of use for social and fast communications amongst individuals. Its like constantly calling someone day in and out trying to get them to buy or accept your services. I wouldn't if I didn't know who you are, Right! you know you would do me the same, so why expect more of others.
I know that don't sound like much to your answer but perhaps this would help to put it all into perspective for you. Blogging is all about having interrelations with others that share your interest. In order for them to have interest in you, you would have to show others through blogging that your pretty much professional in what your talking about online, without sales and services pitches. These individuals will be so drawn to your expert understanding that they will then look to see what you have to offer in way of what your expert understanding is in.
Then on top of that you want to find the niche or genre blog sites to conform to since they will already have a target set of customers to interrelate with. Going after a market base in blogging in my expert opinion is no different that going after a customer base in article marketing. Except with blogging your at the customers front door knocking unlike article marketing is compared to a newspaper thrown at the door.
For more about how this is accomplished you can see my Article Marketing series under articles on my profile.
